The staff was very courteous and the rooms were clean. The location was perfect next to the train station and a 15 minute walk to the Christmas Markets.

The hotel is in a great location just across the street from the railway station. We were visiting the Christmas market which was no more than a 10 minute stroll from the hotel. The facility was clean and the staff were great. One let down was after our first night. We left the room locked although the room service staff were literally outside. We returned at about 16:00 to fine that the room had not been full serviced, and the room was left open! Full access to anyone who chose to enter! Very disappointing and shows a lack of attention to detail and security!

L'hôtel nous semblait un endroit de luxe mais la chambre elle-même est légèrement vétuste. Nous avons été un peu déçus du confort. La salle à manger est très bien, décor un peu château-champêtre. Bien situé en plein devant la gare. Stationnement dans la rue facile, gratuit après 19h00 jusqu'à 9h00AM, ou dans un stationnement payant à 100 mètres pour 3 ou 4 euros la nuit.

Very nice and convenient location, across the gare (station). The old and new center are at 15 minutes walking distance. The property itself is rather old and could use renovation. Bad room is very outdated. Even though we booked a suitable room for 3 person, the accommodation for the third bed was very poor (portable bed, very bad matras) and rendered the door unable to close and closet unusable. Despite the great location I would not book this hotel again.

This is a fantastic hotel if you are visiting Colmar and want a 2 min walk to the train station. It’s a less than 10 min walk to little Venice and other landmarks are close by after wondering through the beautiful village of Colmar. I also wanted to send a “thank you” to the front desk and “Paul” especially he went above and beyond for us last night to help dry our clothes that didn’t quite air dry in our room. I was blown away by his kindness. He came up to our room took our clean damp clothes in a bag had them dried, even folded them and brought them back up to our room a hour later. What a wonderful employee Paul @ the Grand Hotel Bristol in Colmar is!! Thank you and we hope to come via again sometime in the future.
