Avoid breakfast. Eggs were like rubber and that was pretty much the hot offering along with some sausages which I didn’t try. Various pastries, which were ok. Better and cheaper options right outside the front door.
Also, if you bring a soft drink, they charge you a corkage free if you’re drinking it in a common area, which is bizarre.

Saint Martin is a really great property, it might come off as a little old or outdated to some people due to the carpet choices and some of the bathroom fixtures, but for the location and price that is not a problem, and in fact may even add to its charm. It is one of the larger rooms I’ve stayed in during my stay traveling through Europe. The bedding was thick, comfortable and felt rather luxurious. Most importantly it felt clean and safe. Is this the four seasons or ritz no, not even close but I would almost rather stay here.
I've never had such a warm welcome, it made the stay even more special. I loved my room, very comfortable, spacious and quiet - which was surprising considering that the hotel is located over a very lively place. My room had three small windows with a wonderful view over the beautiful alsacian roofs and the bed had the most comfortable mattress I've seen in years. The only downside is that the emergency light in the room shone so brightly that it was literally a nightlight, but I slept very well nonetheless.
This was the most charming hotel I have ever stayed at IN MY LIFE! The staff was so pleasant and friendly. The beds were comfortable. So happy we booked this place and will definitely come visit again!
This is a beautiful hotel right in the centre of Colmar, and close to all the attractions in the town. Room was very nice with a great view from the windows, and the beds were nice and comfortable. The breakfast was varied and good quality, and the staff were very nice. We thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Property was located in the heart of where you want to be but this is where it stops for me.
If you need wifi access, you should definitely avoid this hotel - it says it’s available throughout the whole hotel but then in brackets it says , if it’s not working then it could take a few days to fix the problem. Seems to me , it is non existent as they have this comment in brackets and it’s just to not put ppl off.
During our entire few days here, no where in the hotel was the wifi working and in fact , the hotels wifi didn’t even come up as an option to select it.
It’s a very old hotel so I expect it not to be new or modern which is ok. The room and bathroom were nice, and also spacious enough.
There was no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms - u had to sit I. The lobby to enjoy a cuppa and at a cost which was disappointing. Hair dryer was the most ridiculous contraption I’ve ever seen - can’t even explain it but it certainly wasn’t a hair dryer - it was a tube with little heat coming out of it. Forget style yr hair ladies. Staff were pleasant enough but didn’t have much interaction with them. Can’t comment on the breakfast as we didn’t have breakky at the hotel. The bathroom blind was see through so had to shower with the light off.
Absolutely charming! Such a wonderful place such a wonderful location. The people are so nice and so inviting. This is the second oldest house in the entire village and I didn't know that so that was very very cool. I feel like I have stepped back in time coming in to a beautiful little ginger bread.House hansel and gretel cottage. I stayed three nights and then I stayed two extra nights because it's so great.
Great central location, plenty of eateries . Walking distance to old town and other attractions
I walked to central station, easy as taxis can’t access the hotel during the day.
