The room I was in was clean and warm and accommodating. I had a view of the Rhine, which was beautiful. It was located in an ideal spot and I had easy access to all of the Christmas Markets. Lots of good music, eating and drinking places.

The hotel looks lovely and is clean. However the plumbing had some situation during our 3 night stay. We kept the windows open overnight to not get overwhelmed by the sewer gas from the bathroom which was awful however there was a bar that is open until 3 am on Friday night and Saturday nights which was very loud, there was a fight Friday and police called saturday.Had there been no plumbing situation, this would have been a great stay because it was close to many sights to see and we could of kept the windows closed.

Rooms are very small, beds are situated so that one person has to climb over the other to get out of bed, not ideal in the middle of the night. We were travelling with family and our daughters bathroom was so tiny that her husband had to sit diagonally on the toilet. On the plus side, very clean, fridge in room which is always handy and hotel is situated along the river and within easy walking distance of most attractions.

Beds were ver uncomfortable. Close to cathedral and shops. Shower drain didn’t work enough so water just poured out from under shower and flooded bathroom and soaked half the carpet in the room. Cute place and updated but wouldn’t stay again

The hotel location was perfect. 10 min from the Cathedral and shops and restaurants downstairs. My only complaint was getting to our room was a little bit difficult with our luggage’s with the steep stairs.

Cozy and convenient hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here, very close to the cathedral, main station and lots of beer houses! Great amenities including coupons for a restaurant next door. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Our only issue was an alarm going off at 3am and we could not turn it off. Staff informed us the next morning that CO2 can build up if the windows are closed for too long; would have been a bit more useful to know before interrupting our sleep.

Small but well appointed room. Firm bed. Very small bathroom with an interesting shower. The streets surrounding the hotel are cobblestone, so it made walking there with roller luggage a bit difficult. The hotel is along the river with lots of dining options nearby. Very close to Cologne Cathedral. The area around the hotel felt safe.
