Staff infriendly. Room was not clean. I dropped something & was looking for it. It haad rolled under night stand, where I found trash also. Window had shear curtains. Could not close other cirtains. Not good especially for single women. Room door would not lock from outside. Maintenance did fix immediately. Waited 10 minutes at front desk to check in before anyone came to desk. They were in back talking. This is a military town but they would not give me a military discount even through I had an ID. Disgrace toward military personnel, which is most of there business. I have stayed at Comfort Inn in many areas and always received my discount. I tried to call front desk on night to ask a question. Tried 4 times and no one answered. I let it ring for approximately 2 minutes each time. Glad it wasn't an emergency.

We arrived late in the evening, and upon entering our room were met with the overpowering smell of cigarette smoke. Not like someone had smoked in the room, but like 10 people had smoked in the room and no one opened any windows. Both myself and my daughter have asthma, and there was no way we could sleep in there. When I went to the front desk to be switched to another room, he was unable to provide one due to the hotel being booked. I will say that he didn't even seem surprised though; as soon as I requested another room his response was "oh- I can just check you out instead", with complete nonchalance. When I explained that we were tired after having driven for seven hours to get there (traffic and construction), he then explained that the hotel was full. I ended up spending the next hour calling around to find another hotel to stay at, and we didn't get to bed until 1am for our 8am event. He was nice though, and even typed a letter explaining why we checked out right after checking in so that I could submit this along with my refund request. Incidentally, I'm still awaiting that refund, but I haven't stopped calling about it. This was a major disappointment.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room did not meet our expectations. Specifically, we found the room to be unclean and not sanitary, which made our stay quite uncomfortable. As my son has asthma, the situation was particularly challenging for us, as the condition of the room affected his ability to sleep properly. We attempted to address this during our stay, but the circumstances made for a very difficult night.

Very comfortable bed

Great hot breakfast and very comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The shower floor was textured and needed to be scrubbed with a brush to get rid of soap scum. There was also mildew in the caulk
