Cette cabane offre de nombreuses prestations comme un bain Ă remous, des barbecues et une laverie. Le Wi-Fi est disponible gratuitement dans les espaces communs.
Location was great. Cabin was nice but could use a little TLC and updating. Mattress in upstairs bedroom needs replaced - dipped in spots - making it uncomfortable. Hot tub was nice but not all the jets worked.
FYI - this is a Vacasa property. Google that and see how property owners and vacationers describe their experiences. The property itself was as pictured, at face value. However upon closer inspection, the kitchen drawers and cabinets had mouse droppings. The oven and range top released a lot of smoke when used, despite appearing to be free of grease and oil. A few of the kitchen essentials were covered in grime or looked like items that even Goodwilll would discard, if donated.Although I am a pet owner who take daily allergy pills, this property made my allergies intense. My mouth was swollen and my nose completely stuffed. Despite using the heater, the lower rooms with slightly more comfortable beds was cold. I helped myself to a blanket in the closet, but it was dirty with dog fur from past tenants. The condition of the queen mattress is way beyond the "if it's over 8, it's time to replace." One side of the mattress is sunk in, with the springs having given it there all over the past decades. The bunk bed smells heavily of pet urine. The last remaining bed is a bit like sleeping on a box spring.Pet owners beware - during the winter there isn't much space for your dogs to do their business. The land has a steep downward slope in all directions just outside the property and driveway. Hopefully your dog is willing to go on either the dirt driveway or the dirt road.As is true with most VRBO properties, you'll end up paying more in fees than you do on the daily room fee.
This place is nice if you want to get away from it all to relax and do almost nothing. It is 99% stocked like the other reviews said. Had paper towels, toilet paper, silverware, plates, salt, pepper, etc. Hot tub is nice. No houses right next door in view so it feels like youâre mostly secluded. 20 minutes to cripple creek, 30 minutes to base of pikes peak, 1:15 to royal gorge. 10 minutes to a grocery store. Really was a great stay.
Close enough to many attractions (10-30 minutes), but very secluded even though there are neighbors, the cabin is snuggled amongst the trees. The hottub was nice and there is plenty of space to spread out. The garage access was also a plus. Internwt isnt super fast, but still managed to stream a movie, bring your own streaming device.
Cabin perched on the edge of a drop off. NO hiking in the area, but quiet and peaceful. Older place with basic amenities but comfortable. Driveway entry very narrow - we would recommend widening it.
No tissues provided - need to bring your own. Loved the porch swing and the video game console.
We tried enjoying the hot tub when we had a chance between thunderstorms, sleet, hail & snow. All in a 2 day period. Other than the weather putting a wrinkle in our plans. We enjoyed our 2 night getaway with our fur child.
Great location, nice setup. Overall cleaning was subpar: tissue next to master bed from last guest, dishes not all clean, spider web above the sink, stove burners smelled every time we cooked.
Beautiful cabin- loved the hot tub. Cabin was very clean and the large beach towels for the hot tub was a nice touch. Great location with lots to do close by. Saw the burrows at 11 mile state park. Drove to Victor to see Rita the Troll. Drove to Guffy and met some of the locals.
This place is amazing! Excellent spot to relax and have some peace and quiet. Close to some nice hiking trails. Soak in the hot tub after a nice day of hiking or just kick back and enjoy. Nice for viewing the stars as well. Excellent all around!
We enjoyed our time. It was almost like being at home, very welcoming and inviting. It was close to Mueller State Park and Divide (for emergency need items). We will for sure be visiting again. Thank you for the great getaway.
Nice clean place, in very good condition. We spent a week with family.
Unique rustic and cabin style finishes. Somewhat remote, and it's a quiet location. In the summer, it's pretty easy to access, but steep road off highway to get to cabin. (Need 4x4 in winter probably)
Facility was fairly new and nicely set up with kitchen well equipped, and bedrooms and baths fully ready to go. Even has a hot tub. 2 car garage. Groceries about 20 min away.
Dozens of things to do in surrounding area. Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, hiking, National Parks, + more.
Kind of remote so iPhone calls don't work well, but messages do. Wifi good. Has TV and Blu-ray player. (with some movies)
Overall we recommend Bear Crossing for a trouble free, yet somewhat remote vacation location !
Overall a wonderful stay with a cozy family space (living rm, kitchen, big table) and a great view (love the double porches). We found a few dirty dishes (mixed in with clean ones) but everything else was very clean (including hot tub). Would love to have bedside lamps in all bdrms. Thank you!
The original site cancelled on me on 3 days before I was to arrive so had to find and book another site quickly, I booked the cabin at Bear Crossing in Divide and after seeing the cabin I loved it. Went to the Cheyenne Zoo, Manitou Springs to shop, sheels and Citadel Mall, all awesome. Ate at local resturants and really liked Hungry Bear in Woodland Park.
