This is a great little apartment to stay in to see the sights around the Pikes Peak area. It's off the beaten path away from the chaos and noise of being in town and has a wonderful view of Pikes Peak. The apartment was clean and tidy, the shower had good water pressure, and the bed was comfortable. It also had fast WiFi which is good because we didn't have cell signal up there. It was warm in the apartment, but there were fans available, a box fan and a small oscillating fan, and we set the small one up in the bedroom window during the evenings and it brought cool air into the apartment. The box fan was way too loud to use. Ceiling fans or tower fans would have been nice, but we made do. There is no television in the bedroom, but the television in the living room was sufficient and had a Roku so you could stream your streaming accounts. We didnât really sit outside, but there was a nice patio set-up out there. We did not cook, but I did see some cooking supplies. The drive up to the house is steep with switchbacks, but easily doable in our Subaru. The dog was there a lot, but she just wanted some attention and pets. Overall we had a good stay and the price point is a good value.
