It was a cozy little tree house. Didnât have to many problems. It would have been nice to know how close you were to their actual house though. Didnât feel very private like it seemed in the pictures. Especially the hot tub they mention⊠it is right out side of their deck and it didnât look like had a lot of privacy there either. I know it is a tree house, but with the wind, it squeaks really loud at night⊠to the point you canât really sleep at all.
Fun place, beautiful setting. Fresh eggs from ownerâs chickens was a great bonus! Ladder up to loft is a little steep for us old folks, but very well built, sturdy with good handles. We just used caution and weâre fine. Clean, nice front porch with small table, chairs and nice propane grill.
The treehouse is adorable and every detail, even the baseboards, makes you feel like youâre in a rustic cabin. Super cozy and unique. Also an affordable option, which isnât easy to find. The only disappointment was that it is not as private as it appears in the photos. The treehouse is about 50â from the hostâs backdoor. The hot tub is on their back patio. The space was really clean except the shower. It wasnât filthy but there was hair.
Unique experience and worth the stay. A tree house in rural Colorado is so much better than a hotel! Loved our stay. Comfortable and story worthy.A few minor downsides that you should know going into it to set your expectations⊠this tree house is next to their house. The hot tub is immediately beside their house and shared with them. This wasnât a problem but itâs worth noting. A quick sweep and mop and it was up to our cleanliness standards, but was not when we first arrived.
The treehouse is cute and cozy, down a dirt road and wildlife views. My friend and I had a difficult time dealing with the hosts and left unhappy. We had problems with getting hot water, problems with contacting the hosts on time sensitive problems, and were met with rudeness, sarcasm, and were talked down to for expressing our concerns. Even accused of fabricating a disability based on their assumption that it related to the stairs. We were there for around 2hrs waiting for a reply on the app, and were refunded about 1/3 of the cost for a two day stay. And just a heads up, youâll have to step around childrenâs toys, garden beds and random stuff all over the yard to access the hot tub, which they have a full picture view of from their home.
The property was easy to find. The treehouse was everything we wanted. The tiny house feel, the nature surrounding it. And canât forget the hot tub after a long day of hiking or adventuring. Highly recommend!
Great place to stay, very cute property - the pictures don ât do it justice. Lots of wildlife to watch if you are a nature person. Didnât know how nice a heated toilet seat was until experiencing it! The host was very accommodating and made us feel at home.
