The caboose had everything we needed while visiting Glacier National Park. It was perfect for the two of us. Close to the park and restaurants. The layout of the caboose was amazing! They have so many interesting details. Itâs the most unique rental we have ever had.
This was such a cute place to stay. Super close to Glacier National. Woke up to deer each morning and when we came back in the evening they were out again!! Very peaceful, would definitely come back again or recommend to a friend!!
Nice and quiet location conveniently located with easy access to West Glacier, Whitefish, Big Fork, and Kalispell - only 5 minutes to downtown Columbia Falls. The renovation of the caboose is the work of a true craftsman. The downside is thereâs no bathroom wash basin and no chairs (that I found) to enjoy sitting on the peaceful patio where thereâs a wonderful view of the mountains, horses, and likely deer grazing.Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend for a unique and peaceful getaway.
This little caboose is completely remodeled and clean, Clean, CLEAN! I grabbed this up as soon as I found it on VRBO for a last minute trip to Glacier with my oldest daughter. We really enjoyed it. There are some steeper steps to get in. It is small and everyone inside will know where you are. But, there are comfortable beds, a nice love seat, and it is quiet. The refinished original wood is just beautiful. Thank goodness the bathroom is fresh. In 1913 there was a toilet that emptied onto the tracks! That toilet is available for your viewing pleasure should you desire, but you will have to ask the owners.. The windows provide fantastic ventilation and we did not use the available air conditioner. Perhaps on hotter summer days. This is a lovely tiny house that is only four minutes from Montana Coffee Traders in Columbia Falls. Maybe 25 minutes to Whitefish and the West Entrance to Glacier.
The Caboose was an excellent place to stay for our trip to Glacier National Park and our first time in Montana! Thanks to Dan and Holly for the amazing accommodations. A very cozy and unique space to stay with a seamless check-in and check-out process. Amos and Annie were the best greeters as well!
This caboose was so cute and efficiently set up. We wanted something a little unique and this was the perfect choice. The bunkbeds were a little on the hard side for 65-year-old bones, but the full-size bed was quite comfy. It was an easy drive to Glacier National Park from here and there is a Starbucks in between the caboose and GNP, which was great.
We had the most amazing stay! Holly was so accommodating and responsive throughout the entire booking process. The caboose was clean and had everything we needed, not to mention the best view! Will definitely stay again! Jessica Heslin
The Caboose was adorable and very clean. It was the perfect base camp for our Glacier National Park adventure. We enjoyed seeing the mountains and horse pastures from the deck.
We had a wonderful time staying in The Caboose. Lots of character and detail. The old train car chair in the lofted area was a favorite. Very clean and everything we needed was provided. Communication with the host was great and check-in was very easy. Convenient access to downtown Columbia Falls and west entrance to Glacier National Park. We were really looking forward to staying in the caboose and it did not disappoint.
Very nice and situated at the end of their property next to a horse pasture. Quiet but so conveniently located between Whitefish and GNP. Saw deer daily and it was so peaceful. Used the fire pit, grill, dishes, containers for packing up lunch for hikes, coffee maker and toaster. Perfect size for a few days or even a week. Look forward to returning - Holly and her family were so kind.
Our stay at the caboose was fantastic. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed playing with the ownerâs dog. The beds were comfortable and the caboose was clean and neat. There were even drinks provided in the fridge which we really appreciated.
The caboose is absolutely adorable and so unique. It was stocked with almost anything you may need for the kitchen and bathroom, minus food and personal items. We were greeted by Dan and his playful pup when we arrived, and they were both extremely pleasant. We didn't have the opportunity to meet Holly, but she was very attentive to any email correspondence and questions we had. She sent us a Google location map link that took us directly to the End of the Line Caboose.
This place in tucked away in a beautiful spot with a beautiful view. I had early morning coffee on the patio deck and was able to watch deer graze and play in the field across the way. There are also horses in that same field. It was a very peaceful environment, and we really enjoyed the quiet time spent at the caboose when we there and not out walking trails and exploring the area.
My husband and I would both highly recommend this place to family and friends!
Wow, what an awesome place! Staying at the caboose added a great element to our Glacier trip. We loved sitting on the deck watching the horses at sunset. We ate dinner on the deck every night after a long day of hiking. This place is super clean and so fun. Highly recommended.
This property is located in a very quiet area and is located close to the west entrance to Glacier National Park. Itâs a unique place and the hosts are very friendly and welcoming.
