The hotel was good. The smell of cleaner was burning our nostril hairs, it was so strong! The pool and hot tub had way to much chlorine, its was hard to breathe and our eyes were burning. We were only on for about 3 mins. Other than that everything else was fine.

Favorite place to stay in Columbia MO

We have stayed at the Columbia Country Inn and Suites multiple times. It is one of our favorite places to stay when we visit Columbia. It is dependably clean and comfortable. The breakfast is tasty. Parking spaces in the lot are a bit tight.

Parking was scarce. I had to park in a poorly lit parking lot next to hotel and walk in the dark to the hotel due to parking lot construction. The beds were not very comfortable. The breakfast was lacking. The check in was quick and location was close to dining were the positives.

So I’m local to the area but had some unexpected issues come up and needed a room for a few days. I was greeted kindly by the front desk staff the first day but then met with a number of issues from another staff. Only because my zip code. They still however let me book again but then I was accused of having people in my room that weren’t. Associating with humans I didn’t know existed. It was over the top. I was working and sleeping.

This is a great location for us visiting my in-laws. They have the best free breakfast every time I have stayed here. The beds aren't the best, a little hard for my taste, but the pillows are great.
