The property seemed dated, was not very clean and generally worn down. The breakfast was very limited as everything was broken or out of service. There was only water and coffee avalible to drink and the pancake machine was broken. They only had yogurt, bacon amd turkey sausage to eat. Very disappointed.

The facility was clean, staff was exceptional, we didn't have enough towels in our room after the children came up from the pool the night we arrived. When the grandchildren went swimming the next morning, the towel cart was empty. There were 3 other children swimming while our grandchildren were swimming between 9 am and 10 am. Luckily our 2 grandchildren had robes to dry off with before exiting the pool facilities to go back to our room. Also the button to the 2nd floor in one of the elevators, wasn't working and a young man said he would just get off on the 4th floor with us and walk back downstairs to the 2nd floor. The complimentary breakfast had numerous choices to choose from. Two different types of small omelets, two types of sausages, muffins, bagels, yogurts, pancakes and more, 3 types of juices & coffee, inconveniently located across the room from the food. The woman in the dining room was friendly and attentive to any needs in the dining area. I found the queen size beds to be very firm and pillows soft.

We had a few issues, first was when we realized the room had the wrong bed for us (two queens vs. king, which was my fault when booking through Expedia) They were kind at the desk and set us up with a new room. Upon opening the door to that room, we found it to be occupied! The third room worked for us, but the entire end of the hall near us reeked of someone smoking pot!! It turned out that someone was smoking pot in the pool one of the nights and caused the fire alarm to sound multiple times through the night. I have stayed in Columbia before, and this used to be the best accommodations in town. Not so any longer.

Typical Holiday Inn style, dated. Beds were extra firm which isn’t for me but some people like them. It was clean. Breakfast was eatable but that’s all I can about that, luckily iHop isn’t too far away.

Nice but chilly

Very clean. We could not get the thermostat set right. Wevthought we were getting the room warmer, and it didn't happen. Went out to our car for blankets. Also disappointed with breakfast-out of pancake batter & OJ tasted funny.
