We stayed here recently twice, once on the way to drop my son off at school in Illinois and a second time on the way back. The first time we got there late so we werenāt able to enjoy the restaurant, but we were pleasantly surprised with a free beer of our choice upon check-in in the room was really nice and clean. We had a really nice breakfast and then left early morning. On the way back we checked in early enough to hang out for a couple hours at the restaurant and bar. Their beer is really good especially the Elvis juice. A room this time was nice but I was not happy with a few things that were in repair. First, we couldnāt close our door and lock it when we left so we had to call the front desk person to help us and she showed us a trick to close it because it was broken. thatās not cool. They shouldnāt have put anybody in a room with the door handle broken or if they were going to, they shouldāve told us about this upfront and shouldāve given us a discount. Plus the bathroom showerhead looks like it was recently replaced and nobody bothered spackling or painting over the ceiling area. Other than that, our stay was good. These are little things that can happen anywhere so I still recommend this hotel. Plus the shower pressure was really really good in the shower was nice and hot. The property was really nice too.
