Four Points by Sheraton in Poloaris was a nice place to stay. The room was clean and the staff is friendly. I was a bit disappointed that the EV charger listed on Expedia was not available (there is one Tesla charger but no Level 2 charger for J-1772). Overall I would recommend it, but if you are choosing it for the charger you may want to look elsewhere.

The hotel itself was ok. Typical hotel. Staff was friendly until bedtime. A noisy sport group came in and raised a ruckus. We ignored it until 11:00 pm. Kindly called downstairs and asked if they could please tell the people to be quieter. No avail. Kids running up and down the halls banging on doors. 12:00 pm called to staff again. Please can you talk to the people about the noise! Some people need rest. Again nothing! 1:00am I had had it! I called, now staff won’t answer the phone. So, I go downstairs and the staff is hiding. Won’t come out of office to Check on me. There sets the adults in the cafeteria having a great time. I’m standing there trying to decide do I just call the police for them to handle it or should I ask nicely yet again to be quiet for the sake of people needing sleep… I opted by saying I have to decide should I ask you live or should I call the police. They said why? I told them of the last 3 hours of hell and they could go to their rooms and party. I told them of the kids banging on doors. Those aren’t our kids! I said I’m not assuming they are your children it’s been part of your group. Hockey parents! All done and said they agreed to go to their rooms and I finally got sleep around 2:00 after I calmed down. People!! Hotels are not your private oasis. Some people travel on business and need rest. Be considerate of others!!!

Lacking some major things such as a full length mirror, toiletries that don’t smell like men’s body 3 in 1, and the beds really just weren’t very comfortable but I did enjoy that the floors were not carpet so it felt a lot cleaner. Windows also open which is great. Elevators are very slow, and the whole building smelled very strongly of sewage and purple fabuloso cleaner

Hotel clean, staff won’t tell people to quiet down

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the floors in my room. I had accidentally spilled a soda and used one of the white towels to clean it up. I was positive the towel would be extremely dirty when I was done, but it was actually still white! There was also an issue with housekeeping not restocking half-half or sweeteners when they cleaned my room. I had to find them the next day to ask for more. The huge down side of my stay was the group of hockey teens and their families who decided to party in the evenings. Being on the 2nd floor and close to the open foyer, which was right next to the dining area where they were, I could hear very loud partying, yelling, laughter and kids of all ages running around until well after midnight with nothing said to them by the hotel staff, even though I heard the front desk phone ring a few times. I mentioned something to the front desk clerk in the morning; her response was “Oh, I wasn’t working last night.” She suggested that I should call the front desk if it happened again that night. So, around 11:30pm when the partying, laughing and yelling was going strong, I called the desk. The person who answered seemed extremely hesitant to say anything to the party people. The night was topped off by a group of teens running up the stairs and then down the hallway yelling and laughing. Another person across the hall opened her door to yell at them, which I thanked her for. So don’t expect the hotel staff to do anything about annoying people!
