My experience was absolutely terrible. Check in was fine, the young lady was polite and efficient. Went up to my room, put my things in the bathroom and started checking the beds to my surprise there was a bug on the bed frame next to the mattress. I do have pictures. I called downstairs and let them know. They said they'll put me in a new room. Went downstairs got the keys for the new room and went back up to 603. This room smelled like i was walking into an ashtray. The room was so strong my clothes started smelling like cigarettes. Went back downstairs apologized for the complaints. She said they were sold out and couldn't move me anymore. Their remedy was to have maintenance put in an ozone machine for 30mins. I met the maintenance man upstairs, he also reeks of cigarettes and confirmed the room did smell pretty strong. He started the ozone machine and we both left. I showed him the picture of the bug and assumed it looked like an earwig bug. I had to leave for a business dinner because I was here for work. Went to dinner came back, room still smelled terrible. They advised there was nothing they could do. My room was booked for 2 nights. I asked could they transfer me to a sister property as i didn't feel comfortable staying there. They did find rooms available at Hilton Dwntwn Columbus but it was going to be an uncharge of $285 per night.
