Was glad to have a place to bring my family and dog. A nice enclosed yard and a garage spot included made this special. Well appointed kitchen, plenty of space, comfortable bedrooms. Just a few small issues with the house-torn rug under the kitchen table, door knob to the back door was falling off and made us concerned about security (we use the screwdriver to put it back in place). 15 minute walk either way to OSU campus (north) or short north district (south). Some sketchy individuals, especially on High Street while walking to the short north district definitely gave it a city feel. Overall, a decent day and I would stay here again.

For our very first time using a Vrbo and we had an awesome experience. We were in town for the OSU graduation and were very close to campus. The host was amazing and secured parking for us and we had use of the garage for my sister's rental car. The backyard was perfect for our dog. The amenities were perfect for us and we appreciated all of the little things they had for us like coffee, access to cable, soap, shampoo, etc. The property was a perfect choice.

Great location and quaint property

The property was a little outside our price range, but we enjoyed the stay. I had some comments about the property and shared them directly with the host. The one thing I do want to mention is that there are a steep set of stairs in the property and that was not mentioned prior to our stay. Luckily, we didn't have any physical limitations that prevented us from going up and down, but it was something i thought should be clearly explained in the property description. Unfortunately, I didn't get any good sleep the entire stay and I attribute that to the bedding and linens. I shared my thoughts with the host and they were amenable to making modifications moving forward. One last thought, if you like old homes, this is over 120 years old and that is something worth noting. Despite the age of the home, the property is nicely updated. I do love the property and look forward to staying there again in the future.

Convenient, comfortable, cozy

Everyone has different needs and tastes, so this is one person's opinion. This unit is very convenient to south campus and Short North, and just a quick jump to High Street. In the house there are several good gathering spaces for larger numbers of guests (we had seven in our group), which isn't the case for many properties I viewed before selecting this one. The property is an older home, with the quaint charms that come with it -- exposed brick fireplaces, creaky wooden stairs, etc. -- but it is a very cozy and comfortable place. For this property, there is a smart thermostat, which was a bit hard to figure out at first, and which kept resetting during the night to a higher temperature. Since it was early August, it got quite warm in the bedrooms. We discovered too late there is a "Hold" function on the thermostat. During our stay, a breaker for the circuit the refrigerator is on was tripped, but the breaker panel is not accessible by renters. Thankfully, the host team was responsive and had someone come out to reset the breaker in just a few hours. I assess a property after checking out with one question: would I choose to stay here again? For this place, the answer is a definite yes.

We enjoyed the house. It's cute and in great neighborhood, nice to have garage and a little back yard. The house should have been cleaner. The fridge & freezer should have been wiped down. Ice maker didn't work. Top shelf of dishwasher was broken so we had to reach in to load/unload. But nice space to gather in living and dining rooms.

Great property, well kept, defiantly in the University District

The property was great; clean and spacious. Check in was seemless, property managers communicate regularly. Showers and bathrooms worked great, plenty of space to sleep. Our experience with the neighborhood was unexpected. Being in the University District brought late night noise and knocks on the door, which we did not expext, lots of sidewalk talking we could hear. Not under the property owners control, but more like "the city" than we were expecting.

Perfect!

This property was perfect! My family stayed for the OSU graduation and all of the accommodations were spot on. A great, quiet neighborhood close to everything! Would definitely recommend it.

Very Disappointing

Me and my family were in town to attend an funeral and there were several concerns I had about the home. As expected the home was very old and has been remodeled/updated but when we entered the place it had an old mildew smell. The beds were not comfortable at all and when I pulled sheets back there was hair in bed. The bed that I slept in was cheaply constructed and the mattress was dropping down at the end of the bed. Then lastly the cold water knob did not work in the bedroom sink. We only had all hot water when using the sink attached to the upstairs bathroom.

Very Convenient

Check in/out was probably the easiest I have experienced. Any questions we had during our stay was immediately addressed with a quick text. The house was very clean, great floor plan with easy flow. Spacious bedrooms and very accommodating bathrooms. The garage was a nice perk, just make sure you have a smaller vehicle. I had a Chevy 1500 with 6' bed and we were inches from the wall and door. There is no other parking available on site, but they do give you an option to park for free off site. OS Expo, Downtown, and Campus were very easy and quick to navigate to (5-7 min each). We will definitely be booking for next year.

Excellent home!

We rented this home for a week so that we could house hunt. It is in an excellent walking location to Kroger, restaurants, and the Short North. The rooms are extremely large, and the beds are comfortable. There is a nice fenced backyard that our dogs enjoyed and a two car garage. The home has been recently renovated and the owners did a great job! We spent every night enjoying the patio with a glass of wine after walking in the neighborhood and enjoying all the Victorian style homes in the area. We were able to cook several meals, and there are plenty of kitchen utensils to use. Even while being in the middle of the city we felt safe. I would recommend this home and would stay here again myself!

Wonderful experience!

I rented this house just days before we came due to a funeral. Everything was just as it was described. Communication with the owner was quick as we got a bit stuck with the VRBO app not working when we needed to check in. The location of the house is so convenient to freeways and all parts of the city. Overall it was a great experience and we look forward to coming back to stay!
