Set high above Eglwysbach village, immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding landscape with leisurely walks along the nearby trails or bring along your bicycle to discover the wonders of Snowdonia National Park. After a day of outdoor adventures, take it easy the luxurious hot tub with spectacular South West facing valley views of the Carneddau and Snowdonia mountain ranges.

This property is one of two, set in the owners’ grounds where privacy is assured. The beautiful barn conversion opens into the lounge/kitchen/diner with luxury touches including underfloor heating. Unwind in the stylishly furnished living area, adorned with lead light chandeliers, quality oak doors with furniture and bathrooms of granite and marble all contributing to a luxury contemporary feel. All the painting are original oil or watercolours by a local artist created especially for the cottage. Sink into the plush sofas as you curl up with a good book or gather around the fireplace for cosy evenings spent with loved ones.

The modern, fully equipped kitchen means you can whip up delicious meals using fresh local produce from the nearby town. You will find a local pub and shop within 1 mile, which is walkable but steep in areas. Wake up to the gentle sounds of nature and step outside onto the private balcony, where you can savor a cup of coffee while taking in the panoramic views of rolling hills and soaring kites.

Guests can stay over three bedrooms at Red Kites Retreat. On the ground floor, a twin bedroom with TV, en-suite shower room and WC. Head upstairs to the first floor and choose from the further two bedrooms, a double with additional single bed and en-suite shower room with WC, or the spacious super-king-size bedroom. Completing the accommodation on the first floor there is a family bathroom with freestanding bath and WC.

The property benefits from a heat recovery system which extracts damp air 24 /7 and returns it filtered and recycles the heat. Along with extra insulation in walls, floors, ceilings and solar panelling the cottage is very eco friendly.

Sorry we are unable to accept pets at this property, but we do offer a second home on site 'Buzzards View' which can accommodate an additional 4 guests and up to 2 dogs. The property is accessed via a private drive 2 km long, made with passing points climbing to 650 feet.
