The front desk was helpful, but had to wait a bit to check in. The room had no blanket, just sheets, and not enough large bath towels. Some bath items were not available, but housekeeping was very helpful to replace shampoo, and offer more coffee in the room. I smelled some smoke, at times, due to guest next door, not enough to complain for a one night stay. There is wear and tear about, outside and in, but the rates was very reasonable, I felt safe in my room, and the property is very close, walking distance fact, to a charming downtown Point Richmond, which I found so nice, plentiful, informative, excellent choice of food and art and the locals are very inviting to newcomers. I will return for more adventures, including hiking and photography.

Check in took a while due to a single staff in the counter and several people in the line. I only stayed overnight and paid $102.00. Room is just ok , you get what you paid for. The toilet is leaking and I complained but no response. The corridor going to my room reeks with smell of weed. It’s hard to sleep too due to the coming train and honking of trucks. I won’t stay again. I gave 2 stars due to the hot breakfast which is good. If not for that , should be one star.

The cofee maker in the room was dirty. The body wash was out, reported it to management and never replaced. The restroom door gets stuck on the toilet. Stains on the bedsheets, no sugar free sweetener at breakfast, the rooms are load and you can hear cars going by all nigh, neighbors smoking weed and coughing all night, could smell it and couldn’t sleep. All problems reported to the manager Jannine P and she was rude and condescending about all of it. Terrible management and poorly run motel. Heard other guests complaining too, 4 days without toilet paper. Manager blamed him when I asked, and she blamed me about my issues too.

The guy who checked me in was a little rude. But I think that was just his personality… I don’t like that this place didn’t accept cash deposits. I think it’s unfair to the people who might their money. Which is something you can tell this location has an issue with regularly. I didn’t care about my deposit. But the way they continued to overly explain it without me even addressing it myself, let me know this. I also didn’t like that they put me upstairs. All the empty rooms on the first floor… Why put me where people can see me coming in and out? I’m a female traveling alone…. Anyways It was quiet. Room was clean enough. Breakfast was okay.

Room was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall stay was pleasant however the sink was too low for me, definitely short people friendly. Nothing bad about that but for someone who has lower back issues it can be hard.
