Lovely property with a great view. One small note is the kitchen could be stocked more. It was lacking a good cutting knife, ladle (we used a measuring cup to scoop sauce), large bowls and more utensils in general. The light fixtures and fan also need a good dusting. Other than that, the location was great and very communicative owner.
This property is just as pictured and has stunning mountain views. The house was very clean and the property host was very communicative, helpful, and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!
Write me a short review for a home I stayed in with my family. The locations was very good but the house itself seemed a little dated and the exterior railing on the top level seemed a little unsafe.
Loved staying in this property! The views are fabulous- really tucked away on the side of a mountain. Really close to coffee shops and restaurants as well as places to hike. Quite a big property with a lot to offer onsite for entertainment as we enjoyed the wifi, hot tub, and pool table.
Would say that the carpets could use a steam clean as we noticed that some furry friends who have visited before us may not have been as house trained and we could see some stains. Pillows could be upgraded - either too flat or too hard from what we found (could be worth bringing your own). Some of the style is a little dated given the price but everything worked perfectly and didn't interfere with our vacation. Would definitely recommend it! Thanks for helping us have a lovely time in Conifer!
This property has a gorgeous view and deck but needs some serious care. The deck is sparsely and uncomfortably furnished (two old wooden peeling chairs) so it's not that enjoyable to sit outside. One of the two sinks in the loft bathroom has huge chunks of porcelain missing with the rusted sink beneath visible and bits of porcelain chips laying in the sink making it unusable. Both bathrooms need serious updating. The carpet up the stairs and in the loft felt old and dirty. The painted kitchen counter was so chipped that we often couldn't tell if we left crumbs on it or it was just the chips. We stayed here for a girls long weekend getaway, but given the state it's in, it's maybe better for group of college guys for a ski week or a family with young kids and pets who don't want to have to worry too much about causing damage. The space is great for a large group (except for the deck where there's sparse seating). It just could be so much nicer with a little TLC.
This was a great cozy homebase during our daughters wedding weekend. The property managers were great and answered all of our questions in timely manner.
The house was perfect for our needs. Customer service was quick and responsive. The views from the house are exceptional. A great mountain getaway! Love the fresh eggs!
Is was great adventure to get locked indoors for 24 hours due to Snow storm. We had great family time. Played pool and sat in hot tub. They had fresh eggs in refrigerator when we arrived.
Fabulous mountain views and quiet location that we really enjoyed overall. Bright and comfortable living area with plenty of space and sunlight. Fresh eggs and guest contact for property were great.
Disappointed fireplace was not working and definitely missed by our family. A few areas are a bit worn or dated and could use a refresh.
We enjoyed the beautiful view each morning the most. The home met all our expectations and the owner left fresh eggs from their chickens in the fridge for us. Would definitely recommend this location and hope to rent ourselves again in the future.
If your looking for a place to leave an indelible print in your mind of mountains and fresh air with crisp mornings and no vehicular distractions, this is your spot.
The only downside is that two baths may be limiting for 8 folks over the age of 16, and smallish beds for those not in bedrooms.
Also keep in mind that the nearest supplies are about a 10 minute drive down the mountain.
If you can get past those minor issues, you will enjoy your stay and have memories to last a lifetime.
Go for a walk on the neighborhood roads to see all the views you canât enjoy while driving.
Sit on the deck with a cup of Joe and take in the 70+ miles of visibility to Pikeâs peak in the background.
I Highly recommend heading down to the Snowpack Pub for a meal and a beer.
The game room downstairs has a great pool table and putting green perfect for honing your golf skills while playing some 8 ball with others.
Our group of friends had the best time staying at the cabin. The kitchen had everything you could need. We baked and cooked the entire time. We got some surprise snow and the owners plowed the driveway and brought a snow shovel over! Couldnât be more pleased. Oh and the hot tub was wonderful to relax in.
An amazing house with an amazing view on the top of Conifer Mountain. If you do not care about driving 20-30+ mins to stores, Red Rocks, or Denver then this is the place for you. Will definitely look into staying at this location again.
