We stayed at the La Quinta Magnolia for a wedding weekend, and while the staff was kind and tried their best, the property itself is definitely showing its age. The hotel sits next to a compost/grass business, so there can be some outdoor odor depending on the time of day. The breakfast area was clean and the attendant worked hard to make things look nice, but the options were very limited. If you’re traveling with dogs, just know the walking area is small and not very convenient. Overall, it was an okay stay for a quick trip, but the hotel feels ready for a refresh.

Roaches in the bathroom and I don’t do bugs.. there was paneling that was peeling from countertop in restroom and I knew to keep an eye on it plus I saw different caulking around the countertop as well which let me k ow that they have tried to capture bugs or reseal area prior d knew about situation.

The room was clean and the bed was so comfy we took a picture of the brand so maybe we would could find the same mattress. Bathroom was a good size. The air conditioner work well but didn’t look like it was hanging on the wall very good. The pool area I didn’t like very well. It really needed some tlc.But all and all it was a good stay. And the staff was very friendly.
