The staff was amazing! Laura received us and was super helpful. We gt a beautiful upgraded room and she brought us some wine before dinner time. The bed and bedding items were really comfortable! I loved staying at La Ermita, will definitely come back!

This is really a five star hotel! The proprietor, Javier, could not have been more informative, or more kind. We thank him for his extraordinary generosity and hospitality! Our suite was divine! Perfectly located, in a very historic building turned boutique hotel with great passion and pride! We just wish that we had planned more than one night in Cordoba! We highly recommend this gem!

I cannot say enough good things about this little historic boutique hotel! It's location could not be better; plus a tiny little plaza in front adds charm to this already lovely hotel. All the sights you'll want to visit and cafes you'll wish to dine in, are within less than a 5 minute walk along the quaint, winding cobblestone streets. The location is peaceful and we felt very safe. The hotel itself was restored with superior craftsmanship and every attention to detail. Not only is one wowed by the history and antiquity of the hotel, but also, its modern facilities like ultra comfortable beds and a surprise kitchenette hidden under a folding countertop. It was very quiet. We were also impressed by the cleanliness of the facility, the helpfulness, availability and friendliness of the staff.

This property is amazing and the most amazing part is the staff. They went out of their way to ensure we have everything available in advance with recommendations to plan the trip to cordoba and offered to book anything that we wanted to do. Lauren has been amazing. We did receive a parting gift of couple of painting which we absolutely loved and appreciated.

The owner of the hotel, Javier, has lovingly and painstakingly repurposed three small, disjointed buildings. He is a godsent custodian of history, a gracious man who insists upon personally welcoming his guests, without being fawning. Every detail is smartly appointed, clean, crisp, and I'm only sorry that I had but one night to stay. You'd be mad to choose anywhere else.

This monument turned hotel is amazing. Each room is different and ours was spacious with a large window looking into the town. Everything is close by. This place is worth seeing, and I highly recommend staying here.

This was by far the best hotel we have stayed in. Concierge was so friendly efficient and helpful. Full of recommendations for excellent restaurants. We were upgraded unexpectedly but know if we had not been we would have been equally delighted. The building is beautiful and full of history, the bed and bedding were exceptionally comfortable. We will come again i am sure . The little Bar in the square was delightful. We were right by the Mesquita but it was so quiet! Would give far more than 5 stars if we could

Very special hotel

Wow. You know the kind of place that is so good that you don't want to tell people? This is it. But at the same time, I want to do what I kind to support the hotel. This is small (6-room) hotel, which is a converted medieval church. The conversion was done with high-quality finishes (heavy hardware, modern bathroom, etc). You really feel like you've gone back in time, but with modern comforts. The highlight is the proprietor, Javier, who was endlessly helpful, patient and professional. Honestly, I feel we got more out of the deal than he did! I would highly recommend this hotel, it made our 2 nights in Cordoba VERY special.
