Was a great getway! Pam was very thoughtful and left a bottle of champagne for our 32nd wedding anniversary. Loved that we were in a house and had room to move about instead of a hotel. Thank you Pam for a wonderful first time experience with VRBO. We definitely would recommend her property.
Clean, had EVERYTHING we needed! Beautiful property, enjoyed cooking outside on the Blackstone in the beautiful sunny weather. Property came complete with daily parade of about 24 turkeys and a deer. Couldn't ask for better communication and hosts! Highly recommend!
Very clean and cute home. Fabulous that it was dog friendly and a very walkable village. Very quiet and close to the Schoodic side of Acadia, an hour drive to Bar Harbor side but all the views and quaint towns make it all pleasant
Fantastic stay! The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to prep meals. The expansive outside deck was a nice spot to relax after a long day hiking. The quaint village of Corea was also nice to take walks and we enjoyed lunch at The Wharf a few minutes walk away. Added bonus is the house is pet friendly. We drove to Acadia 2 of our days which was about 60 min away and checked out Schoodic Peninsula one afternoon which was 15 min away. I highly recommend this house for a quiet relaxing stay!
Very clean, quaint/ cozy cottage feel house. Large dining room, spacious dining room.Large patio Town is quiet, walking distance to wharf restaurant. outside view of deer, turkeys, and the stars.
Great location and great house!! We attended a wedding and the Welcome Party was at Lunch on the Wharf which was walking distance from the house. The wedding was at Oceanwood-not as close but certainly close enough! Do not undersell the back porch/deck with the Blackstone grill!!
Absolutely wonderful property! We felt right at home and had everything we needed. We loved the location and we could easily get to many areas to explore. The house was extremely clean and the communication with the host was excellent. We couldn't recommend this property more highly! Thank you so much to our hosts. We would love to come back.
The house is cozy, clean and very well equipped. The host added some very special touches to make it even more inviting. My kids and I loved to learn more about the lobster catching art, following the legacy of the hostâs family.
This was a great place to stay in a cute fishing village. The home was cozy (although a little too warm upstairs the first night) and the whole family enjoyed it. It was farther away from the Acadia island than we expected, but we enjoyed the Schoonic region which was close by.
Pamela was fantastic and helpful. Very prompt when we needed help with anything. Corea is a beautiful town and locals were excited to have us. We did a boat tour and saw seals even swimming in the harbor. Pamela was very generous and had all the amazing starters for us. The kids were able to burn off energy in the yard and play with outside and indoor games Pamela has onsite and ready for you. Amazing time and beautiful home. Thanks for sharing your home with us! We plan to be back!
The village of Corea is beautiful and peaceful. My family had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed cooking on the Blackstone grill. We were able to eat outside for many meals, unless it was too chilly or windy. We loved walking and running around the town and the small beaches nearby. The yard is large and there isnât much traffic going by the house. Pamela provides outdoor toys, so our kids enjoyed playing ball in the yard. There were also books for the kids. The house had more than enough space for our family of four and was actually quite large. It would easily hold 8 guests (other than the one shower). There were many nice touches by the host. We had plenty of paper products, shampoo and soap. The house has well water, which has a bit of a weird smell. There is a water cooler for all your drinking needs and we got used to the smell after a couple of days. The air conditioner listed in the amenities is a window unit on the first floor. However, we didnât need it after the first and warmest day of our visit in July. The house is very cool once all the windows are open. Parts of the home are renovated. The kitchen is not (as the photos show). The kitchen was well stocked with spices, but we did have to go to the market for oil. I did not have any trouble with my indoor allergies all here, as I sometimes do in other homes. We had a few minor issues during our stay and Pamela was very responsive.
We had a great stay at this charming fishing village home. It was a little drive to hike in Acadia- but well worth it for us to have a quiet place to come back and relax at. Also, lover how close it was to the Schoodic peninsula hiking trails. Pamela was attentive and kid, the home was clean and cozy. Would definitely stay again next time Iâm heading up north.
We had a great stay and had everything we needed. Although the weather was overcast, we were still able to enjoy the deck/patio and cook a nice meal. Would definitely book again!
The home was lovely. We like staying a bit off the beaten path and away from the touristy area. Our kids enjoyed walking down to see the views by the water. The scenery was beautiful and the home had everything we needed and then some.
We feel like we won the lottery! This place was exactly as portrayed and exactly what we wanted. Cozy, comfortable, relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedding was comfortable. We enjoyed walking the quiet streets of Corea and meeting neighbors. The locals we met were pleasant, helpful and willing to share their stories of life in the area. We had need to contact the owner once and she was very responsive to our situation. IF we ever have the opportunity to travel to the area again, we will definitely be looking to book this wonderful gem.
This was my first Vrbo or any house rental stay, I am hooked. This place was beyond my expectations. Clean, Cute and Comfortable. The inside was setup wonderfully, Had pod coffee pods awaiting us. the porch was wonderful and the furniture on it was so comfy. this location is right up the street from the Warf and a restaurant where I had...of course a 2+ pound lobster on the harbor. I would defiantly stay here again IF up in the area
Check in process was easy, the host responsive, the home very clean. We were a party of 4 and there was room for at least 4 more. The outdoor space was more than expected. We were there to give my mother a chance to reconnect to the place she grew up in and hasn't been back to in a long time. The village is lovely, the people friendly. The perfect place for peace and quiet.
