Modern stay in Cork

This was a modern and refurbished hotel. Room and bathroom were spacious. Staff were helpful, and there was a lift. Parking on site was free. It was a little walk to town centre, but easy. Breakfast was good too.

Property was nice. A little away from things to do but not to far. We could still walk. Parking could be a problem. They don’t seem to have enough spots. Twice we left to walk around and another person asked if we were driving so they could have our parking spot.

Great Choice

Room was ready early which was great after driving down from Dublin. Room was spacious and clean with all the amenities I needed (tea/coffee/bottled water/great shower/TV/fridge). I only had the continental breakfast which was good value and the cooked dishes coming out to other guests looked really good too. Hotel is well located with the city centre just a short walk away and the free parking in their own car park was ideal.

Room refurbishments are very good but still in-hand so the hotel was noisy during our time. And this area of cork can get pretty noisy too but overall we had a very good stay.

Affordable perfection

The staff were so very friendly, cheerful and helpful. My room was beautifully renovated, everything fresh and relaxing. The bathroom was perfect and absolutely clean. The hotel's location was perfect for visits with old friends and for an event at the University.

Great property but the construction going on is a definite drawback since it was crazy loud starting at 8am . If you can check out before the noise starts great otherwise it is unacceptably loud and you won't be able to relax in your room

Great Stay in Cork

Had a great stay at the Lancaster Lodge and a lovely time in Cork. Our room was newly rennovated to a really high standard and bed was really comfortable. Hotel is in a great location, friendly and helpful reception staff and a great breakfast. We would definitely stop here again

This location is great...it's easy to walk down to the English market and to Oliver Plunkett street. We had great dining out and the hotel staff was kind. Breakfast was good.

We stayed at Lancaster Lodge for one night while in Cork during our Ireland travels. The hotel is very nice and well kept. Check in process was smooth. Extremely convenient to have onsite parking while in the city. Plenty of dinner options just a short walk away. Breakfast the following morning was great! Definitely worth the stay!
