"Sands of Time" est un chalet de plage bien aménagé conçu avec le confort, l'espace et la beauté à l'esprit. Son plan d'étage ouvert et sa cuisine bien équipée en font la maison idéale pour les réunions de famille. Les vues panoramiques sur l'océan et les multiples espaces de vie ne sont que le début des nombreux conforts qui attendent votre plaisir.
Le troisième niveau spacieux avec plan d'étage inversé, offre de nombreuses possibilités de sièges potentiels. Choisissez de vous séparer en groupes intimes ou en grands rassemblements comme vous le souhaitez. L'immense cuisine gastronomique a beaucoup de place pour plusieurs chefs ainsi que pour encourager les passants .. bien sûr, ceux-ci peuvent observer depuis la sécurité des tabourets de bar de l'île. La salle à manger pouvant accueillir 10 personnes est également reliée à la salle de soleil, qui peut contenir plus de convives ou le dernier puzzle / jeu. La grande salle a une vue magnifique sur l'océan et dispose de beaux sièges en cuir et d'un énorme système de divertissement avec son surround. Détendez-vous dans la montre des navires, qui surplombe la grande salle. C'est un salon merveilleusement surdimensionné qui vous invite à faire une sieste paresseuse ou une conversation tranquille avec un ami ou un livre!

Descendez les escaliers au deuxième niveau et vous trouverez deux chambres de maître avec salle de bain privée, deux autres chambres avec salle de bain partagée, une buanderie et une salle d'exercice. Un nouveau revêtement de sol à ce niveau rend tout frais! Accédez aux terrasses en bord de mer à tous les niveaux de cette maison bien pensée, ainsi qu'à partir de quatre des six chambres.

Le premier niveau offre plus d'espaces de rassemblement et de diversion. La salle de jeux comprend une table de billard, un baby-foot et une console vidéo de taille arcade «Legends 3». Il y a aussi une kitchenette avec un grand réfrigérateur, une salle de bain complète et une chambre avec lits superposés.

Au niveau extérieur, vous avez le choix entre ping-pong, piscine ou grillades. La piscine comprend une immense piscine, un bain à remous et un bar tiki avec un grand réfrigérateur, un évier chaud / froid, des tabourets de bar et une table de pique-nique avec terrasse sur le toit et plus de sièges. TOUT magnifiquement paysagé et attend vos baigneurs!

Serenity in Cordova

The home is beautiful & was just as advertised. Perfect serenity for our entire family, which included 4 (under the age of 4) grandchildren. The home is fully stocked with just about everything you need. The bedrooms & bathrooms are all spacious. Laura was great at answering all my questions & provided great tips for getting around. She was always quick in responding too. The drive on the beach, is a must do if you have never done that before. I have nothing but positive feedback for this gorgeous rental. Absolutely great for multi-families vacationing together. Laura provided very detailed information from arrival to departure & everything you need in between. Thank you for everything you did to ensure we had a fantastic family vacation.

An absolute pleasure

The owners have thought of so many "extras" that are above and beyond anything most people would expect from a rental. While it is definitely secluded from town, we were there to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday as a family. We used everything the house had to offer for fun and relaxation and had the best week on the beach. There was even an entire area full of toys for my niece and nephews!

Loved it!

We loved our stay at Sands of Time! We had a group of 13 - 3 families ranging from 12 - 50 years old. There was something for everyone to do and keep busy. It was clean, spacious and the kitchen had so many helpful items, since we cooked every meal while there. The walk to the beach was wonderful too - very close. Communication with the property manager was easy and prompt. We loved everything about it and plan to come back again. ❤️

The house is wonderful, it’s exactly like the pictures and actually even better. We had the unfortunate luck of being there during a storm that lasted our entire stay, but the house kept us entertained and the location made it more interesting as we watched the sea from the house.

Well stocked with almost everything you can think of. 4 wheel drive required to get to house but well worth it. We saw wild horses most days. Check the tide charts and plan accordingly and you’ll have a great time.

Exceeded our Expectations

We just returned from our stay and all are in agreement that it was one of our favorite vacations ever! There were 9 of us, ranging from 71-10 years old. The house was great, the pictures really don’t do it justice. The location is wonderful and the directions given were perfect! Listen to the advice and be sure to air down! Driving on the 4x4 beach may not be for everyone, but we loved it. It totally enhanced our stay! The outdoor area was great and the pool was surprisingly large! We loved that the deeper water was in the middle and each side was shallow. We would have enjoyed an outdoor speaker system, maybe something to consider for a future enhancement! Having 3 full sized refrigerators was great, we used all of them! This house was so well thought out. The kitchen had everything we needed, even birthday candles and corn holders! I’m not sure if this is possible in the area but a water machine that holds the 5 gallon bottles would be a great addition, even at an additional fee for the renter. Laura, the PM, was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive.

Perfect Place

This was our first family vacation that included everyone from grandparents to grandchildren, and this house was PERFECT! With 4 spacious suites plus 2 more bedrooms, everyone had their own place and bathroom if they needed privacy, and we had large, beautiful gathering areas to come together as well. We really noticed the attention to detail from the potted plants, seating everywhere, binoculars placed around the ocean view windows…. We also made good use of the tiki bar, and game room! While some might find the 4x4 beach inconvenient, it was actually perfect for us. Everyone had fun driving along the beach, and for our family members with medical conditions that would make it nearly impossible to walk over the dune and through the sand, being able to drive out and park on the beach was not just convenient but necessary. We are already anxiously planning our next visit!

Best time ever!

This property is magnificent

This house is absolutely sublime. Clean, spacious, gorgeous furnishings and amenities. I don’t know where to begin with my praise of this gorgeous home. My family and I had the time of our lives for our one week vacation. I would recommend this property to everyone and anyone. The sole drawback for my family was the 4 x 4 beach. We were not equipped with the proper vehicles, which meant we were isolated to the property for the whole week, without the ability to leave easily. We did not understand what it meant be located on a 4 x 4 beach. I would stay again in a heartbeat, but would make sure that I rented a proper 4-wheel drive vehicle. I give this property two thumbs up! So gorgeous, spacious and right on the beach. What could be better?

Great family vacation getaway!

This house and everything about it was amazing. We had 5 adults and 4 children on vacation together for the week and there was PLENTY of room. The house was amazingly appointed. We have a chef in the family and he was thrilled. While the location is remote and we all drove 4x4s to get to the home...we planned ahead and did not have to leave once while we were there. The beach in the morning, the pool in the afternoon and drinks on the deck in the evening...heaven.

So many amenities!

What a great house! This place had everything one would need at the beach. In addition to the pool and hot tub and advertised ping pong table and arcade games, this place had every beach game you can imagine, boogie boards, kayaks, etc!! Our crew was well entertained. The house layout was great, kitchen had all the gadgets. Definitely recommend this place.

I cannot express adequately how wonderful this rental experience was! From the reservation, the communication prior to arrival, upon arrival, the house itself.... simply amazing! The property manager, Laura, was so attentive and helpful! We have never stayed in the 4x4 area before, but we couldn’t have asked for a better first time!! It definitely won’t be the last time... Outer Banks at Sands of Time

The property was just AMAZING! The amenities were fabulous; Workout room, complete indoor and outdoor game rooms with multiple things like ping pong and pool, Along with arcade games, electronic darts; board games, cards, etc. Everything you could need for the beach and the pool was there. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. Beach towels were even provided, along with your Sheets and towels package!! Laura the property manager was amazing. Got back to us immediately on a few questions that we had. The decks on the house provide sun and shade options with plenty of places to sit, and relax, and enjoy. The views from the beach of the sunrise were spectacular. The pool area was perfect with the tiki bar and a place to store beverages in the refrigerator and mini kitchen. Some people may find the drive from the main road through the 4 x 4 area a challenge because of the distance. If you don’t hit the drive during low tide, You’re looking at a good 45 minutes from the road. And it’s on sand, so you’re slipping and sliding even with a 4x4 vehicle. But if you want privacy and you’re not one to like lots of crowds, this is definitely for you. If you plan to drive out during low tide, its about 20 minutes travel time and much easier. The wild horses were simply beautiful to watch and they were around the property quite frequently, including the beach. The pictures that we got were phenomenal. In addition the Naval base in Norfolk had helicopters and aircraft flying up and down the beach line for training. We loved it because we’re Naval veterans and got to really enjoy watching THAT!! One of the BEST properties we’ve stayed at EVER. Seriously felt like we walked into HOME!!!❤️ (Our only regret was that the swimming pool is not heated....and because the temperatures were in the high 60s and low 70s it was never warm enough to swim without heating. We would have paid extra for that!) Thank you Laura for making our stay so great!!! ❤️

We love this house!

We love this house and keep coming back! The layout is perfect. The kitchen is the best stocked for a rental we've ever had. The decore is beautiful and you can tell they take pride in their home. Perfect location, fantastic beach with chairs, toys, games...you really only have to pack clothes and arrive.

Awesome house/vacation

This house was perfect for our group. They had everything to keep kids and adults entertained, no matter the weather. Plenty of indoor/outdoor games, as well as equipment for the beach and pool. So much to do, or space to just relax and do nothing. Kitchen was well stocked and worked out great for cooking daily. Great views and wild horses were nearby basically every day.

Paradise even in a storm

We had two families with a total of 9 kids under 11 and loved every inch of this house. If it wasn’t for the bad weather that tropical storm Arthur brought in this would have been my favorite vacation beach house ever. We were basically quarantined for 4 of our 7 days but still had a blast. When the weather cleared up we gotta a little taste of the full package and we will definitely be coming back. Thanks for all the thoughtful and intentional parts of your home that truly make it special for the whole family.
