Es gibt fast nichts Besseres

For a German vacationer, the house appears simple from the outside. But when you enter it, it is modern and generous. Everything was as described in the prospectus.¹The well cleaned pool wasn't very big but it was ours alone. Even the pans were brand new. Plenty of plates and cutlery were available. Wie all loved it and we will definitely come back next time we are in the area. However, we had difficulty entering the house. A slightly better explanation should be included here that doesn't just consist of the 10-digit code Klaus

It was great .. just a few things i would upgrade like toilet seats .. couch seems to need to be shampooed .. 3 big roaches ..one was on the stove area .. we always bring our home defense cause if we see roaches .. and it did the job .. didn’t want these guys running on us .. headboard dusty & had animal hair .. bought a fan and when i turned it on someone else dog hair few up .. pet hair was around while house .. under stuff .. very dusty under all furniture in living room …kinda grossed me out .. i had to swept whole house .. seemed like it hasn’t been swept behind things or mopped .. cuss then it would’ve picked up pet hair .. also art on wall fell off and i couldn’t find screw that was in wall but it wasn’t damaged .. couch pillows were dirty i left in master closet .. and there was also pet hair in the closet .. on a long pillow we didn’t use that at all .. pool was clean ..

Great place for kids and adults

We had never stayed in this area, so i wasn’t sure what to expect. The house was roomier than i expected and very clean. Comfortable beds and furniture, the kitchen was well stocked and a tv in every room. The private outside sitting area was very nice. Our grandson loved the pool being so near the front door. A short drive to an awesome beach. Customer service was prompt the couple times i texted and asked questions. I would recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely rent again here.

So clean

We take a trip every April and I have to say that this was by far the cleanest and most pet friendly place we have stayed at. We have a special needs daughter and the place was absolutely perfect for us, both of our dog were able to go outside with out us having to be with them which is a huge help when our attention is devoted to our daughter.

Peaceful

Really enjoyed this place, very cozy felt like home. Was very clean. Had everything we needed. Nice area, definitely will be back next year around the same time. Only thing wrong was the TV in the master bedroom, we could never turn it on, the remote didn’t work and one was broken. Nothing big that can’t be fixed.

Home Away From Home

Just as the title says it was truley home away from home, very cozy and comfortable. Had everything we needed and then some. I highly recommended this for family vacations or even just a get away with your spouse. Even had wine glasses ladys! Just byow! Oh and so close to the beach just hop in the car and 5 mins your there! Or go take a dip on the pool right outside the gate! We did both and enjoyed it all!

Disappointing Stay

This is a very cute rental, BUT, upon arrival on Thursday, the rock courtyard had a bunch of big weeds and dog poop from the previouse visitors and the trash bins in the courtyard were full and rancid. Inside smelled clean but there was pet hair build up on the HVAC air intake, pet hair dust bunnies, the floors were gritty dirty from sand, the countertops and cabinets in the kitchen were dirty, light fixtures, ceiling fans, tv etc. were very dusty. We battled tiny little biting ants inside and out during the whole stay. Because the HVAC air intake was so dirty I checked the AC filter and it had not been changed in months. It wasn't just discolored, it was caked like it had not been changed for months or maybe a year. The very first night of our stay the AC went out. We started chatting with VACASA that next morning, Friday, with no reply from any local person until the next day, Saturday, at 1pm. The chat system was very convenient, but pointless for a problem. This person that called us Saturday was very nice and got an AC person out to look at the unit within a few hours. Unfortunately it could not be repaired. By this time there was nowhere else to stay and we ended up buying a fan and a portable AC to try to stay cool for one more night. Over 25 years coming to the island and this is the first time that we've been just pist about a stay. Sure we've had some dirty properties, squeaky ceiling fans, noisey ac's, but this was another level, made worse by being ign

Overall this place is comfy and beautiful. Our whole gamily enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again. Housekeeping slacked a little on their job, but I spoke with the property manager and they assured me the problem would be fixed for incoming guest. We would stay again with no hesitation. Love & Luck Cottage

The cottage was clean and centrally located. Close to a gas station and fast food for late night snacks. Contacting management about a missing key was terrible, but I wouldn’t have had to contact them at all if I didn’t need to report the missing key. Parking is not meant for full size trucks, and other guests didn’t take pool hours into consideration our first night there. This house has the pool directly outside the entrance, so getting our grandson to bed was difficult until the other guests left the pool at 3am. They use a keypad lock, and we had difficulty putting the code in fast enough most times, perhaps because the number was 10-digits long. There was a storage room with beach items we could have used if the key was there, but we had our own items, so that wasn’t a big problem. The remainder of our stay was wonderful. The house is set up with a bedroom and bath at each end with the kitchen and living areas in the center. There is also a large covered outdoor seating area and a clothes line along the fence to dry your swimwear on. The water heater worked wonderful and we never ran out of hot water, the AC was strong and cool, and my Pom-Chi was comfortable and safe while we enjoyed what Corpus Christi had to offer.
