Great place to stay in Port A

The place was perfect. The screened in porch was big and spacious. For my two small dogs, they loved it and with the small fenced in yard it worked out great. The place was clean, cool and just perfect for what I was looking for. When I had any questions, they responded right away. Can’t complain about anything but relaxing her away. I’m going back soon for sure!!

Fantastic porch, great place if you don’t cook much

This property is in Spanish Village; all the properties are small and quaint. It has a fantastic screened in porch that is about the size of the house with an outside shower The porch lets out into an enclose small yard with a fire pit and seating- a great place for our dogs. We didnt have to walk them. There are a few criticisms. The kitchen area is not really equipped for real cooking. There is a 2 burner induction top, a microwave high on a shelf that I had to use a step stool to safely use and a toaster oven on top of the fridge. It is not easy to prepare real meals. There is a small table with 2 uncomfortable bar chairs on the porch. We brought a folding 2x4 table and used that. If you are going to eat your meals out- especially dinner, then the kitchen is ok. Utensils are limited. The bathroom is also cramped- it’s the nature of the cottages. But it worked fine. The bedroom size is ok but there isnt much room or logistics for clothing. We were there for over 2 weeks. There is a small area across from the bathroom where you can hang a few things and if you rearrange, there are 3 shelves to use. The bed was not very comfortable. I travel with a camping mat because of a painful hip. My husband ended up with back pain from the bed so we bought a foam cushion for him and that worked ok. Overall, for a shorter visit and limited cooking this is a great place. The neighborhood is nice and quiet except for the construction at the high school. Restaurants are close.

Just Okay.

House was clean, but the screens on the patio were falling apart. Some tiles missing in bathroom. Hard time using microwave bc it was on a very small shelf and had to be careful not to let it fall. Three doors and keys only worked on one. 😞 We won’t return.

My husband and I stayed there for a few days for a fishing trip and we loved it. The screened in porch was really nice to keep all of our fishing gear. The ac worked wonderfully and overall it was clean and refreshing to come back to everyday.

Great cottage and location

This property was recently renovated, and was very comfortable for us and our two pups. It’s walking distance to great restaurants and the art center. The grocery store is very close as well. The fenced in backyard was great for our puppies and the surrounding neighborhood makes for a great walks, you’re only five minutes away from the beach

Quick stay in Port A

This updated little cottage is so adorable. It was perfect size for my family of 3 last minute 4 day/3 night trip. Our only complaint is that the pull out bed in the living room was terrible. No cushion, very thin and springy. Our kid opted to sleep on the couch. Glad we only had one kid on this trip. But for me, a/c is the most important and it worked great. Overall, very cute and cozy place to stay.

Enjoyed beach holiday with family

Location and cabin very nice. Had difficulty getting passcode to get into cabin. Had to call Sandkey to obtain passcode since was not included in email. Please have bathroom door repaired before renting again. Also provide broom to sweep up sand. Enjoyed Thanksgiving on beach with our family.

Labor Day get a way

The house was nice perfect for us and our pet. The only thing privacy with the neighbors next door not so good, you could see them and they could see us. More plants would be nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great Location

Overall the location of this property is the most enticing part of the property. It's super cute from the outside and the we loved the little carport with the fence, was very handy unloading the golf cart daily after being at the beach. The listing explains well that it's pretty bare bones as far as extra "amenities" go so we weren't expecting more than that. It was not the cleanest place I've stayed at in Port A and the pull out bed was very uncomfortable, anyone larger than my 6 year old daughter would have been very uncomfortable.
