First of all, the home is very nice, but it is listed as a 4 bedroom house. It is not. The fourth bedroom upstairs has no A/C. The owner of the house has not replaced the unit due to a disagreement with the contractor. I did contact New Waves a week before to check on the A/C upstairs because of previous reviews. I was told the unit was replaced.On the day of our arrival, I received a text from New Waves which said there was no A/C upstairs. Itâs hard to believe that the new unit was not working. Plus, no one could come and look at it until the next week. So, my family of 6 looked at the bed situation and decided we could make it work. When we arrived, the main floor (3) was warm. We turned down the thermostat, brought down the fans from the 4th floor and hoped it would cool off. It did not. We decided to leave because I was told that no one could come to fix the unit upstairs, so obviously they could not fix this problem. When we arrived at the office, the lady out front indicated that we must be lying because on her computer screen said the third floor said 70 degrees. Sure, thatâs what we set it at! Then she said someone would come out to verify our claim. They sent someone. He said it was not working. We left and he was out taking the unit apart. On Monday I called New Waves to tell them I wanted a nights refund. Again, arguing about we needed to let them try to fix it. And then blamed it on batteries in the thermostat.Do not rent this house!
