I checked in and received a key card. When I got to the door, it didn't work. I went back to the front desk and was given another room. While in the lobby, there was a leak from the 2nd floor gushing into the lobby area. When I arrived at my room, there was a dead roach right at the entrance.

The receptionist gave access to my wifes room to a individual that should not have even been there she didnt not even enjoy the rest of her stay because that factbit was her birthday weekend very terrible experience

Our first room was not clean, so we moved to a second room which was clean, but after a week's stay, no one offered to clean, empty garbage, bring more coffee, etc. We had to ask for TP and tissues and more towels. There was no safety mat for the tub and this was an accessible room. The tub floor was slippery. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The location was great for getting around town. The breakfasts were good and varied. Driving into the hotel was dangerous. The entrance was narrow and another car seemed to want to play chicken with us. Maybe it should be one way around the hotel. The refridgerator in the room was wonderful however, it opened the wrong direction and you had to almost stand on the bed to open the door and get to the items inside. The pool did not have a safety rail on the steps for safety which made it impossible for me to use and that was one reason I chose this hotel - for use of the pool.

Overall, our stay wasn't terrible as we made the best of it. There were 2 sets of washer / dryers, neither which were working. There are also 4 Ice Machines, which only 1 of them worked. There were two days that we had to do without wash clothes and had to use pool towels for hand towels. We normally like to stay at Windham Resorts, but we expect better than what we received at this hotel.
