"Unter den ca. 30 bis 40 Ferienwohnungen der letzten 10 Jahre ist diese sicher unter den Top 3. Die schicke Wohnung ist absolut sauber und sehr gepflegt, sie wirkt jünger als die ca. 10 Jahre, die sie nun alt ist. Der offene Wohnbereich mit Küche ist sehr gemütlich und bietet einen großartigen Meerblick, die Küche ist sehr gut designed und ausgestattet. Das Bad ist hübsch und hat eine geräumige begehbare Dusche. Das Schlafzimmer hat viel Platz und ein – für englische Verhältnisse – sehr gutes Bett mit einer eher harten Matratze (wir betten uns gerne noch härter, sind dabei aber sicher nicht repräsentativ). Die im Nachbar- bzw. Haupthaus lebende Vermieterin ist sehr hilfsbereit, reagiert auf per WhatsApp gestellte Fragen sofort, ist aber ansonsten "unsichtbar". Ihren Geheimtipp, die Bäckerei mit dem Sauerteigbrot, haben wir geliebt. Die Umgebung ist für einen Urlaub mit Hund absolut traumhaft. Diverse Spaziergehmöglichkeiten eröffnen sich direkt vom Haus aus, an windigen Tagen eher ins Landesinnere, an sonnigen Tagen natürlich zum kaum 10 Minuten entfernten Meer. Unsere Lieblingsrunde folgt der Küste bis zum Polly Joke Strand und führt durchs Landesinnere über die Traego Farm zurück (knapp 6 km, 1:45 Stunden). Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausfahrten nach St. Ives, Land's End oder Padstow liegt Crantock absolut günstig, alle diese Ziele sind in einer Stunde mit dem Auto erreichbar."
