My husband and I had such a wonderful and relaxing weekend here! The cottage is absolutely beautifulâcozy, charming, and full of little touches that made our stay feel special. The jacuzzi tub was amazing, and we loved spending time in the swinging egg chairs under the house. The bedroom felt romantic and relaxing, with soft lighting and a warm ambiance. The kitchen was super cute and well-stocked with the basics, plus some thoughtful snacks and drinks. The only downside was that the pots and pans were very worn and could definitely use an upgrade. A small kitchen table would have been nice too. The living room was cozy, but I think it would feel even more inviting with a full-sized couch or a little sectional. The overall vibe of the cottage was modern with a cabin feelâvery updated and welcoming. The outdoor space wasnât quite what we expected from the photos. The backyard and dock didnât have the same charm, and the privacy fence was damaged in spots, with some areas just covered by black tarp. The neighborâs property next door is in rough shape, and while thatâs obviously out of the hostâs control, it took away from the vibe. The host was wonderfulâchecked in once by text and gave us privacy. The personal touches like tea candles, flowers, chocolates, and a handwritten note made us feel incredibly welcome. We had such a cozy and enjoyable stay and would love to come back again!
