This is our 3rd time staying at this property. We thoroughly enjoy our time in Crested Butte and it is always nice to have a well maintained place to stay. Everything you need is provided and it is centrally located to resort activities or just a short drive to town.
Location close to the mountain is the only thing going for this place. The building is older and in the hallways leading to condo inside smell horrible musty mold/mildew that continues into the condo. We arrived at 4 as told by check in instructions and the place hadnât been cleaned. After phone calls and emails showing pictures and assured they would call back as soon as they knew when it could be cleaned. We waited in the area for several hours then had to find another place to stay an hour away. Never got a phone call just a review text at 10:30 that night and they said it had been cleaned. We did not go back after having to commit to another place since we never received and answer in a timely matter. Still trying to receive some kind of refund but havenât seen it yet. Sara with vacassa was the only helpful person we talked to. Never using vacassa again for any property rental. Been coming to crested butte for 30 years this is the worse place I have seen and management to deal with.
Only good thing is the location! Previous review mentioned there being no hot water in this rentalâŠwell it still isnât working!! Tried messaging 4 weeks beforehand to see if the problem had been resolved and got NO response.
Why do you pay a ridiculously high cleaning fee when itâs not clean upon arrival?? There was a layer of hair in the showers, stains on the carpet/towels, butter exploded in the microwave and crumbs everywhere.
When you contact the 24/7 assistance they tell you theyâll contact the local team and get back to youâŠwell itâs 48hrs later, Iâve checked out, and still havenât heard from someone. I feel like I should get reimbursed for my cleaning fee or partial stay!!
The listing was for 6 people but only had room for 4. There was no hot water during our stay. When the manager was notified the they said the pilot was off during our stay and they were sorry.
