Perfect location for a ski weekend

Loved this location - only a few steps away from the lifts. Bedroom was a nice size as well. Perfect for a ski weekend in CB.

Prime Location, Old building

Pros:This place has a prime location very close to the main base area and lifts. The apartment was clean and nice. Cons:The parking lot for this building is small only holding about 10 cars for the entire complex, so had to park in the main Crested Butte parking lot. No unheard of for a mountain resort, but not ideal.Also, this building is old and you can hear everything outside the apartment. You hear everyone walking up/down the stairs, people walking around in the apartment above. Overall we had a great time, but these issues were quite evident.

A few days at Crested Butte

Location, location, location. Could not be much closer to the lifts. That said this unit good, but not great. Check in was easy. The building does not have an elevator so hauling luggage up stairs at over 8000 ft was a challenge. Parking is tight, not that many spaces. Kitchen area adequate, but the appliances did match some white, some black. There was a large container of Mortons Salt, but no salt shaker. No pepper shaker. TV was good size. Bed was very comfortable, and the bedroom had lots of closet/dresser . The bedroom needs some carpeting or rugs as the floor is very cold, and starting out the day with cold feet sucks. Also the bedroom could us some UBS ports to charge all our electronic device, Lamps with USB ports would be a welcome addition. A TV in the bedroom would be a plus. The bathroom is adequate. Missing light bulb in vanity light over sink. When we tried to use shower, the knob just kept turning and then came totally off. Management company was quick to get this repaired on a Sunday while we were on the mountain. We own a Platinum rated unit in Vail and our unit is constantly inspected and rated by Vail. I do not know if CB has similar rating inspections. This unit has a lot of potential, and it would not take a lot to upgrade it.

Raw sewage leaking into the property from the unit above. Forced to clean it up in the middle of the night. Still waiting on a full refund. Do not rent this condo.

Nice condo

It's an easy place to stay right near the base area. The parking is good but seems like it could fill up quickly, then it's a walk from the garage. The unit has balconies on both ends for light and fresh air, but the tall buildings make it hard to see the sky. The hot tub was very good and this would be a great place to stay while skiing.

Cozy condo. Good location right at the foot of the slopes. Small terraces off living room and bedroom. Comfy for a couple but not more. Small dining area, really a wide place in a hallway, but OK for two. Nice community hot tub, but oddly located on a walkway.

Excellent location

Great spot right next to Red Lady. Parking can be a little scarce but I managed to get a spot. I was a little disappointed that the tv didn’t have access to any streaming services. Kitchen had all the pots and pans needed for meals but obviously you need to bring seasoning and such.

Great location and very nice

The condo is located at the base of the mountain and a very short walk to the main lifts. There is also a shuttle stop very close by that takes you into town as well if you are looking for that. The condo it’s self is nice and well decorated.

Worn condo

This property is ok, but nothing to write home about. Although we had problem getting into condo, owner responsive. No drip coffee pot, but when I called a new one was brought over. This condo is in an older building that needs some maintenance. It was not clear to us that there were 4 flights of stairs to get to front door with no elevator. Impossible to get cooler up, and thus many trips to car for our belongings. The pots and pans were very used and minimal. The balcony off the bedroom was very dirty, and had not been cleaned to be able to sit out there. The fan in the bathroom made a loud grinding noise and could not be used. There was a fireplace however, it had been condemned by the fire department. We did not need to use a fireplace and this was not listed as an amenity anyway. The bottom of the shower curtain was pink with mildew, which was a turn off. There is no soundproofing, so the neighbors above us were very very obvious. To be positive, the bed was very comfortable.

The condo was well-maintained and nicely decorated. It was very quiet and easily accessible, except on the first day, when the code we were given did not open the door and our cell phones were not working. Fortunately, we were able to contact Alpine Property Management, who promptly gave us a working code. Other than that glitch, everything else about our stay was great and I would highly recommend this property to friends.

Basic unit, great location

This is a pretty basic place, in decent shape. It worked well for our family (2 young kids) on a spring break ski trip. The kitchen utensils and cooking supplies were well stocked, including stuff like salt, pepper, oil, and plenty of pots pans and kitchen tools. The ski locker was great and the hot tub was a hit with the kids. Bring your own extra towels if you plan on using the hot tub. There were only 4 thin bath towels supplied, so these were always drenched between showers and the hot tub. It would have been nice if the bedroom had a tv, as our kids went to bed early on the pullout. The location of this place is awesome for skiing, literally less than a hundred yards from the lifts and close to all the apres skiing restaurants.
