We love your home Everytime we stay! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. One of our highlights is the shuffle board we have so much fun playing that while my mom does big puzzles on the table by the window! It’s a win, win for all!

The house is nicer and larger than even the photos suggest. It's big, open and very comfortable. We really loved the deck and hot tub as well! The kitchen is well equipped and you can easily cook a meal there for a large family. The location is very convenient to both the town center and the mountain area. We were a little concerned about the lack of a/c in August but there are many windows and a lovely breeze that helps to keep the house cool. This is one of the nicest vacation rentals we have stayed in recently and highly recommend.

The Brands family vacation

This was second stay at whetstone. We have been doing family vacation every January for the last 9 years! As we have out grown a lot of the properties this one fits us all now. The hot tub is an added bonus the only other thing I would recommend is a fire pit even if it was propane .this property has always been very clean, and the host is always accommodating. We will be booking again next year….THANK YOU FOR A LOVELY STAY

Great Time at Whetstone

We had a group of 9 guys on an annual ski trip and the house worked great for us. There was plenty of room and the bed/bath situation worked out well. We especially enjoyed the large selection of kitchen cookware for making large meals. We used the new First Tracks app to call for shuttles to the ski area, and it worked great. The shuttles even came to the top of the driveway to make it easy to load our gear. We used the Black Tie ski rental service and they delivered right to the top of the driveway as well. The house was very clean and the management company was very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend this place!

Whetstone house

Great location and easy to get to ski area and bus to town on the first tracks shuttle. The hot tub was perfect and has great views. Overall fantastic spot! I would say the couch in the main living area and dishwasher are due for replacement but nothing that would effect me booking this house again.

The house and amenities were as advertised. The property management company was very responsive to issues(the power went off in the neighborhood for a couple of hours affecting the oven). There was plenty of room for 6 adults, 3 children and an infant.

Perfect views from the front porch!

Great stay for a fall girls weekend! There was plenty of room to stay and sleep and our group enjoyed the views and the hot tub on the porch. Would love to come back to visit again soon!

Spacious yet cozy

Great property. Open concept downstairs which is everyone room to spread out while also being together. The shuffleboard area is a great touch. The beds are all very comfortable and clean. Beds are a big deal for me so five stars there. We came to do off-roading and the location was ideal for that.

Awesome CB house with a couple things to know

We stayed with my siblings and their spouses, some of our adult children and a baby. It’s a great house, beautiful view, very comfy beds, well stocked kitchen. They even had things available like more trash bags, Clorox wipes, plenty of hot tub, bath and kitchen towels etc. We were grateful we could have one of our dogs with us :). Most everyone got in the hot tub and loved the dark skies! It really was a great house for our 3 night getaway. Downside: the fridge was very small for our group of 12. It would be great to have a 2nd one in the ‘bike’ room. I had to keep a lot of my food in a cooler and keep adding ice. Bunk room does not have any windows that open so super stuffy in the summer for anyone in there.

Wonderful Experience!

Our trip to Crested Butte was for a birthday celebration for my oldest son. We needed a pet friendly property to include our lab. Whetstone Wonder was everything represented. Our check in was flawless. The house is magnificent. The views incredible. The owner has thought of everything. The property management company bends over backwards to ensure every expectation is met. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Crested Butte. It was more house than our family of four needed, but I am so glad we had the opportunity to visit this awesome property.

We had a larger group of guys and the place worked out perfectly! There is plenty of sleeping space and roomy kitchen for cooking for a bigger group. The hot tub really was a nice treat after a hard day of skiing.

Fabulous House in Mt. Crested Butte

We loved this house! The pictures do not do it Justice! We had plenty of space for our family (6 adults and 6 kids). The house is very well stocked with everything you would ever need! The bus picks up right at the end of the driveway for skiing. The ski room with the door from the outside was very convenient! The hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing! The hosts answered all of our questions, and made our stay so easy! We had a issue with the coffee pot, and it was immediately fixed! We would most definitely recommend this house!

Amazing property

This place was fantastic. The shuttle stops right at the base of the driveway and only a 5 minute ride to the base. Close to town. The management staff we had an interaction with were great, courteous and helpful. The house was top notch. We loved the shuffle board for hours of entertainment. Would highly recommend this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed this property -- great views, close to CB, a very nice place! We are building a home near Gunnison and needed a place to stay until it is completed; this house was perfect for us, plus, we enjoyed the shuffle board table! When our friends came to vist, we even enjoyed a few tournaments. Nice patio, too!

“Whetstone Wonder” is wonderful!

This was our first time to Crested Butte and we loved it! This property is in a great location with incredible views. The deck is amazing and we enjoyed dining outdoors and hot tub time after long days spent hiking. The house is well stocked for cooking and entertaining. There are plenty of towels, the beds are comfortable, and have nice linens. The property was also incredibly clean. We just had a small group but can’t wait to go back with friends. The main floor is perfect for entertaining with a ton of space.
