The room was clean and pretty spacious with an additional sitting area. The bathroom was quite small. We did not use the kitchen but there was a mini fridge, stovetop, coffee station and large sink. The balcony overlooked a little grassy area. Our room was next to a busy road - I would ask if availability closer to water next time. Fun new gift shop on property, adventure outings available to book and nice tiki bar next to pool and lounge area. Great location to see local springs, shopping restaurants in historic area of Crystal River.

We had 2 deluxe king bedrooms that were booked over a month prior and in the last 15 minutes before check in they called to say our rooms were not available due to maintenance issues. Btw, we were in the boat coming back from scalloping so we couldn’t get to the front desk at that time. Again, check out is at 11am and check in is at 4pm. Call a plumber and get it fixed! We were down graded to 2 queens adjoining rooms which were actually double beds and my husband and I slept in separate beds just to have enough room to sleep and we had to watch cartoons to tune out the other party so we didn’t hear them in the room right next to us. The floors were sandy and heaven forbid we get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom because we would have to wipe our feet off before getting back in the bed. Also, the other guest that were staying right next to us that were not in our party asked us if we had sand all over our floors so they were dealing with the same problem. The dryer was broken and the ceiling had water stains in the shower and you can see where there was definitely water damage with the baseboards and caulking that was done. They competed us free breakfast for our party but it was so bad that it didn’t make up for it. Eggs were way overcooked, waffles were mixed with something that made them seem like Cinnabon, biscuits and gravy were extremely bland along with the sausage. All in all, I would say never again.

This property is a mix of “Old Florida & New” . . . Well maintained, convenient to Hwy 19 and parts are right on Kings Bay, creating a launching pad for plenty of water activities from sunset cruises, nature/manatee excursions, scuba diving, fishing and scalloping (in season) and if grabbing a tan is the endgame a nice pools adjacent to the Tiki Bar is waiting for you. New construction is underway to add more options for fun. We will return.
