I was unexpectedly amazed with the Gator Den Motel being as clean and modernized as it was. It's not your run of the mill, i.e., the shower, the huge TV, obviously newly renovated, the walls even looked freshly painted, the bed was grand and quite comfy. The only thing negative is the rather large, well lit (too well lit) EXIT sign over the door, even throwing a towel over it was not enough when you like a really dark room at night. An overall comfortable room, bring a eye mask.

Pet friendly, comfortable bed, very spacious, check in staff was nice. Wi-Fi was horrible, no phone service with Verizon. Room was not as pictured, no chairs, just a worn out couch. We are locals and needed a place to stay while home was remodeled. Restaurant onsite was terrible service.

My wife ordered a hamburger at the restaurant and it was tough, but manager would not remove charge or discount it. my grouper sandwich was great though! The room was a great price and very comfortable and the gentleman at front counter was very nice and accommodating!

Great old style single floor motel. The staff are so friendly and welcoming with a laid back yet customer service focused approach. The room is on the pricey side compared with other places but the location and food onsite make it worth it. The bar and restaurant staff are brilliant. Thanks.

I was a bit surprised when we drive up, and thought we were in the wrong place because the sign says Angler Motel and it seems very small. But the room was great. They do have mini fridge/freezer and a one cup coffee maker. Shampoo but no conditioner (ladies bring your own!). Very clean (slightly disinfectant smelling when we first walked in. I'm sensitive so just left the door open a few minutes). All in all wonderful experience. The hotel and restaurant staff were fantastic. I will definitely go again.

Perfect little spot to stay for Rainbow Springs adventures. The rooms are basic, but the beds are comfy, the pillows squishy, and the A/C is ice cold. The restaurant has amazing steamed shrimp. The staff were really nice too. The only comment I did have is that the weekday maid smokes the entire time she's cleaning, so there is a lingering scent of cigarettes. But the weekend housekeeper is delightfully friendly.

The motel had recently been renovated in the room, reflected very well of that. Modern bathroom, great floors, bed and pillows were very comfortable. This was a spur of the moment stay and we were not disappointed.

We were pleasantly surprised that this older property had clean and recently rennovated rooms. Beds were comfy, towels were thick. Down side was you could hear the neighbors and some road noise. But all and all a good stay for a,quick overnight on our way south.
