I don understand how this hotel have three and half stars.
I would not give this hotel even two stars.
Not enough lite, very dark in the room. When I came to the room it was very smelly. I checked the pillows and they were completely yellow. I went to the reception and I asked for new pillows. Because it was close to midnight he was looking for a pillow and after while he brought me a pillow.
The next day they gave me back pillows but again they were completely smelly and yellow. I asked the lady to give me a new pillow. When I came to the room in the afternoon finally I had a new pillow. Breakfast, no choices only egs and coffee.
I paid for three nights and I left after two nights. When I was leaving in the morning the stairs were in complete dark. Stay away from this hotel. The room had only window to the inside of the hotel so everybody was able to see in your room. This is a hostel not a hotel.
Nice hotel...well located...friendly staff...just way too noisy in the evenings!!!
...extending to midnight...and beyond. First night it was a bunch of "retired" football players shouting between floors...second it was a group of card players on the first floor...below the atrium..."shouting" caried all the way up to my 3rd floor room. Without earplugs I wouldn't have been able to sleep!
I had a medical emergency while staying at the San Andres and the staff said "Go - take care of yourself. We will hold your until you return" (free). I was blown away by their caring attitude. BRAVO!! The memory of this simple, basic, hotel with a heart will stay with me forever.
