This is an ideal VRBO in Cullowee. Close to campus, which puts you nearby Sylva/Dillsboro. Great, well-appointed home. And, being right on the Tuck was wonderful.

Beautiful home!

We came to the Ohiolina for Thanksgiving. An absolutely beautiful home that is very comfortable. Location is wonderful and also right on the Tuck! My son loved the chance to wade out into the river and work his fly rod! We enjoyed fires around the fire pit as well as just relaxing on the porch listening to the rushing water. Could not have asked for a better vacation home!

Family time on the river in Cullowhee

The home has visual appeal from the first moment you see it Through the front door, you immediately notice the volume of light airiness in the home. Stylish, modern furniture and accents are soothing, cozy and welcoming. There is just enough of “cabin” to remind you of the mountains around you – which you can’t forget because of all the windows and wonderful views. The gas fire place in the living room will pull your group together while knocking the chill off. The dining room table generously seated our party of 5 adults, a 4-year-old and 3-year-old. Under the open back staircase became the preschooler’s place. The kitchen graciously accepted our three cooks and was was well stocked for our holiday meal. The screened in back deck, running the width of the home, was another favorite gathering spot. The children considered it being outside and spent much of their time playing there, close to us, safe from the river. At night, it was the place to grab one of the many throws in the home, for snuggling, reviewing the day and nighttime prayers. During the one chilled rainy day we were there, it was a life saver. Both the river and the fire pit will be included in our pleasant memories. The bedrooms and linens were comfortable. We enjoyed having use of the washer, dryer and iron/ironing board. The home’s location in a community did not detract from our enjoyment of it. Town was close enough that a run to a grocery store, pharmacy or restaurant was a breeze. Near

GREAT STAY

We had a great week at this beautiful property with everything we needed to feel right at home. The location is great with many attractions and small towns to explore within a short drive --if you can pull yourself from the spacious screened in back porch with its dining area and plenty of room to lounge and enjoy the relaxing sounds of the river and its wildlife. The house is even more beautiful and spacious in person than the pictures. Dale was a great host and responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had before or during our visit and the check in process was a breeze. We will definitely be returning and look forward to our next stay.

A little slice of heaven

What a beautiful retreat to escape the city and daily grind. This home provides an exquisite experience with high ceilings, large doorways, and top of the line furniture and fixtures! Absolutely gorgeous! And to top it off, stepping onto the back deck with a cup of coffee in the morning listening to the Tuck River is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We were a late arrival, and there were wind storms in the area that took out the power, but our host was quick to communicate and offer a refund for the time we lost. Luckily it came back on during the night. This home is about 1.5-3 hours to Clingmans Dome depending on traffic. Overall this is a great place, you won’t regret the experience!

Wonderful stay on the Tuck

We traveled to Cullowhee to visit family attending WCU. The location of the home was ideal—just 3 mins from campus, if that. Home was very large and in beautiful shape. The back deck right on the Tuck was the highlight for us. Even saw a Bald Eagle one morning. It’s about 18 mins to Silva, which is a great little spot with plenty of food and shopping. Trails and fishing nearby, and spent time with the little ones watching people fly fish. Will definitely be coming back.
