This small hotel is in walking distance to the main square of Cuzco. They small garden is postcard picture of tranquility. The staff is always helpful and attentive . As they say, always done with," cariño:

The stay was fantastic and super unique - the staff was super friendly, the grounds were beautiful, and the room was clean and quiet. The hotel has a very antique and rustic feel which very much added to it as well.

The house is so beautiful. The restaurant is amazing: organic foods, good seasoning. They provided us comfort dinner after our Inca trail. All the staffs are so so nice and helpful. They kept our suitcase during the Inca trail. Our journey couldn’t be more satisfying without them.

Very safe hotel (main door to road is always locked-staff buzz you in), great bed, dark room for sleeping, charming courtyard, hot shower, friendly staff, lovely breakfast. We only had breakfast one of two days because we left at 4:30 am on second day (we were not offered a takeaway breakfast, but not expecting it either). The outdoor walking paths are wonderful but could be difficult for individuals with poor footing. The door to the room was initially a little finicky to close-but was easier with practice. Great view!!

We had a great stay at El Balcon, the staff was friendly and made check in super easy. The rooms were clean and very cute. It gets chilly at night and they had heaters. The layout of the hotel is beautiful. The restaurant has delicious food, plus the chefs were super accommodating. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

I thought that for the price of the suite, you would at least have wifi and adequate heating. I could not sleep unless the fire was going as it was so cold. I slept with my hoodie and sweats on additionally to multiple blankets I had asked for. There was also lots of noise at night which would wake me up every few hours. It was a very cute hotel and the food was quite good. Service was very kind. It’s about a fifteen minute walk down/up a steep hill to get to restaurants. Overall a very nice hotel if you’re paying a cheaper price, I wouldn’t bother with the suite.

Really great location and adorable place with a lot of charm. The staff was great and helpful, the breakfast was good, and they help our bags overnight for our one night trip to Aqua Calientes. Highly recommend! Only small issue was that our room for our second night was just next to the road, so we could hear cars rumbling down the cobble stones all night. If you're a light sleeper, it might be worth requesting a room on the other side of the courtyard.
