The apartment did not look at all like what is displayed on the pictures. It is old with rusted sinks and rotten cabinets. The living room had an old couch and a strong smell of smoke throughout. The master bedroom sheets were stained. The second bedroom has a toilet seat difficult to access as it is built facing the sink. The kitchen is old and seems to have been badly renovated and is with limited access under the roof. There was water on the kitchen floor. We called the host and told him his place was not acceptable and ask for reimbursement. We never slept there as we left to go to a hotel that night. He chose to keep close to half of the payment we had made. An awful experience also for our daughter who was so frustrated with the back and forth we were having with the concierge till very late at night that she just cried. Now I realize how important and helpful people’s reviews can be to help others make informed choices. Rent at your own risk!
