Very well maintained with cleanliness, not only the rooms but the hotel in general, spacious rooms. pool area was clean and stocked very nice. good job Hampton!! I would stay here over the Omni Dallas from now on.

The hotel was very clean and the room was spacious. We were on the 18 th floor in a corner room with fantastic views. The buffet breakfast offered a variety of choices and there were different items daily . I needed to phone the front desk for a few items and Carl was very pleasant , attentive and accommodating. Thank you Carl for your assistance and prompt response to our requests !

CHECK-IN: I checked in digitally on the app as recommended. I chose a room on the 15th floor, but then the app told me that I needed to show my ID to the employees. I re-did the entire check-in process with the employee, so it was a waste of time to use the app. Then they gave me a room on the 12th floor, although I chose the 15th floor on the app. The guy that checked me in was also not the best service-wise. He didn't greet me and wasn't very helpful. THE ROOM: The room was okay. The bed was not comfortable like I am used to at hotels, and the bathroom was not very clean (stained shower floor and a long piece of hair on the wall). SAFETY: The first morning, I witnessed a homeless person macing the security guard in the lobby. There are a lot of homeless people around the hotel, but other than the macing incident, I never felt unsafe. BREAKFAST: Breakfast was standard; not bad. Get there early, or it will be super busy. PARKING: There's a parking lot behind the hotel, but it only offers parking for 12 hours at a time. Which is inconvenient if you don't plan to be parked that long. Street parking is available, but there are weird times when you can't park near the hotel, so I had to move my car a lot. LOCATION: The area seemed okay. There were lots of restaurants around (expensive, though), and it was pretty walkable.

Only option is $45/night valet parking or expensive outdoor, dirty, unsafe lots run by the "city". The staff said there was an $8/12 hours lot but I ended up only finding 1 that charged $15/12 hours or $30/24 hours. The other made you pay a 24 hour fee but it ran out at midnight who pays for 24 hours but only needs the lot for 7 hours? SMH it made no sense. I wish the hotel offered parking in the garage for $30 bucks I'd have been fine with that. The pool was under reno. The views were great from the room. AC blew ice cold. Room was with double queen was tight and awkward. It was hard to move around. It was loud outside until midnight but it seemed to calm down after that. It is a typical downtown area with some shady people walking around, some homeless, and a mix of families, couples, and business people. Breakfast was decent and typical hotel breakfast, but there is a starbucks attached to the building but with limited hours compared to those who are standalone.

My husbands cologne was stolen during our stay and we had issues with the AC at night had to change rooms at 12am just to have the similar issue at the second room. Very upset that all they did was refund us $100 when the YSL cologne was more than that plus the issues with the room with a newborn. Do not recommend at all.

On day 3 of 4 hot water failed. Notified front desk in early afternoon. 3 different repair men came in my room. 2 of 3 did not even knock. They spent 1.5 hours without fixing and said they would call me with update. No one called. Notified front desk again…now evening. No fix and I missed event due to inability to access hot shower. Eventually late night I was given room key to next door room to use shower. Lack of communication and service is unacceptable. No compensation offered either.
