It was a nice clean room and had a nice fragrance smell to it. It's only 2 miles to the hospital and that was the reason that I booked it. The breakfast was good with a variety of hot food and cold food. Great staff. Great place to stay that's close to hospital.

We paid for, through hotels.com, two rooms for two nights. The room my partner and i stayed in smelled like fish. The morning after our first night, my daughter came to me with a bed bug in a napkin that she found in her hotel bed. We immediately packed our items, went to the front desk and requested an early check out due to the contamination. The lady was pleasant and stated that we would need to email the manager proof of the bed bug that we had, and hotels.com for refund. I did email the manager that day and hotels.com two days later. Hotels.com stated that they would try to reach out to the manager for refund and would update me in three days. I was concerned that the manager would not reach out to hotels either as they had not responded to my emails. But my concerns were validated when i found out yesterday that not only could they not reach him, but they would NOT refund me nor only for the entire stay, but also not for the two nights that we didn't even stay there! $500 gone! And Hotels.com offered me key cash. I will never use La Quinta OR Hotels.com again. Your money is not safe here.

The room does not get cleaned properly, housekeepers barely remove the trash, the bathroom is ill-maintained, the carpet not clean. The neighborhood isn’t that great. The building definitely needs some renovations. The breakfast quality is bad. Not planning to go there again unfortunately.
