Hampton Inn has really taken a step back. What was once a positive draw for the hotel franchise, a full hot breakfast with multiple chafing dishes with eggs, bacon or sausage, has been reduced to one chafing dish with sections of hot breakfast items. The mattress in our room seemed old, soft and in need of replacement. The sheets would not stay on the bed. The TV in the room was inconsistent in powering up, and we had to call the front desk (who was great) for help. The staff is very good, helpful, and friendly.

Great location. Many restaurants, stores and shopping in immediate area. Very clean. Coffee in lobby 27/7. Nice choices for breakfast which is included. Our dog travels with us. The pet fee is $50 which is pretty pricey and actually the most we have ever paid. Front desk and staff very friendly.

I could not believe there were only 4 carts for luggage. When I checked out Sunday morning, I had to carry luggage out to my car as there were 2 people ahead of me waiting for a cart.

Check in staff were very friendly. My room was very clean. I enjoyed the large shower. Only complaint which isn’t tied to the hotel itself. Is the area around the hotel, had a lot of people just wandering around the parking lot at random times throughout the night.

Very Friendly, Clean & Comfortable.

We live in Indiana and were in Dayton because of the airport. We flew out and into as part of a trip to HHI. After a long, miserable day at the Charlotte airport we decided it was best to stay in Ohio rather than drive home. We checked in a 2am. It was painless and refreshing to see a friendly face. Kayla was very helpful and kind. The room was very comfortable, beautiful, & clean. The next morning we really got to see just how nice this hotel was. The lobby area was inviting and beautiful! The breakfast selection was great! I travel all over Indiana and Ohio for work. This hotel had the best breakfast selections I've seen! Fresh fruit, pastries, smoked sausage with eggs and two types of waffles. There were also almond milk. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate having almond milk as a choice! The breakfast attendant was welcoming and helpful. Whenever we fly from Dayton we will be staying here! The price was affordable and well worth the money. There was one opportunity for improvement that I saw. There were 2 employees in the lobby talking loudly about how they didn't care how another hotel was short staffed. The one commented that she was already punched out and not going to help and the other said something about how she didn't care...she then went in the kitchen area and did something. This type of conversation would be best had away from guest areas. Other than that, everything about this hotel was PERFECT!!
