Every now and then, you end up at a Hampton that shouldn’t be in the portfolio- this is one of them. From desk staff completely inattentive. The man at desk this am could not even look up from the tablet he was on to greet guests and ignored people talking to him. At 8:30 am, I reported no hot water and the woman who answered did nothing. I had to take a cold shower and head to meetings. I told her on exit and she said “all well, sorry”. She couldn’t be bothered either. I said it will be in my review and she scoffed at me incredulously! It doesn’t deserve 1 star. Tired building, rude staff, and rude housekeeping also. Worst Hampton in the chain hands down water

Our stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Palm Coast was great, due in large part to the comfort of our room. Our first night was not great as there was a steady drip from the bathroom exhaust fan, which we initially attributed to the heavy rainstorm. In the morning the rain had cleared, but not the drip, so we reported it to the front desk clerk. They moved us to a new room with an upgrade, which was appreciated. The staff we encountered were all friendly and courteous. The breakfast had a wonderful variety of choices to eat, though I personally found the egg dishes to be rubbery and uneatable. The choices in waffle batters made up for this. The hotel was convenient to our house hunting expedition, as well as many stores, restaurants and the beach. I recommend this hotel.

Room is clean front desk was welcoming. If you’re looking for a nice quiet place that’s easy access from the freeway this is your spot. We used it as an in between stay for San Augustine FL and home which is Orlando. Made the trip easier.
