Okayish room. Beautiful landscape . Poor service . Terrible internet . 1849 restaurant food was inedible . The wild rose tavern is nice but located ina dark corner of the property behind an unfinished parking lot. Makes it difficult to find it at night. Great ice crew parlour. We had internet services for roughly 3-4 hours per day . I would not recommend a stay at this place . It’s too expensive for the quality of food and service it offers. Death Valley being the spectacular place it is mitigates the challenges of staying here

Fantastic experience staying here. Beautiful resort and amazing staff that were very helpful with any all requests. I would definitely visit again. (Small nit - buffet was cold a couple of times)

Staff at the front desk are very nice, professional courteous and our check in & out very went quickly and smoothly. Our room is spacious and comfortable. We did not bother to have cleaning done during our two days there. The restaurants close from 2:00 to 5 pm so the only option we had was at the Borax burger stands for burgers. The staff were very nice however the food was not that great! It had very limited options as well. we forgot to drive

The room was very tired! The experience from staff was mixed with some very helpful with others lacking any interest in our requirements. These were relatively minor issues and overall we were pleased with the hotel environment but we were very disappointed by the high cost of poor quality food ($16 for two very dry pastries and coffees). With no other local options available, customers were a captured audience which the hotel took advantage of.

Fun Oasis in the middle of Death Valley NP. It was convenient to everything in the park. The pool was perfect for after hiking. The restaurants were good, and the live music was fun. Wish I had more time to play pickleball but they have that too. Since Death Valley is so hot with no shade, The Ranch, provides fun things to do to get out of the heat.

This was a great place in DVNP! I truly wish we could have had time to take advantage of the resort amenities. However, at the price (even through Expedia) I couldn’t justify more than one night. We did eat at the Saloon (decent but pricey) and the spring fed pool was awesome. There was a lot of stuff to do and the location is fantastic. If we ever returned I’d do another night - bookended either by camping or staying in nearby Beatty. If you’re looking to book and you’ve got the money this is a great place.

The bathroom plumbing, the bathroom fan. Doesn’t do you any good to stay three nights and nobody provides coffee refills in the room. We had 4 decaf when we arrived.
