check-in was flawless but ice machine was broke (had to go to front desk). Internet was down. (had been for a while). Lights by bed didn't work. they were unplugged by previous customer because room outlets are very limited and oddly placed. two sets of towels in the room when we booked for three people.
Tansperancy first. we have stayed there before and will go back, only for the sake of convenience when visiting the area. To also be clear we think highly of the staff. But....
The side access doors which have a card lock don't work so the doors are unlocked 24/7. The ice machine has been out of order the last three times we stayed there. To be clear, the staff will get you ice, but you need to go to the front desk and request it. There are no USB ports anywhere in the rooms so be sure to bring your chargers. They have removed the coffee pots from the rooms.The outlets in three of the rooms that we stayed in are loose within the electrical box in the wall. While they are most likely safe to use, the fact that management ignores that needed repair, imo, speaks volumes about their commitment to customer focus. My wife and i disagree about the hot breakfast. C from me and B from my wife.
After they charged my credit card, they said cable and internet were not working. Then we went to gwt in our room and keycard did not work. Went back to desk and tried it again
Came back to the toom and no go. Went back down and got another keycard. And yet again no go. So the lady came down and opened our door. We wnet out to eat and came bacl and door locl still did not work. So they had to let us in the room yet again. We will definitely not go back but feel like we need a refund also.
couldnt find a snake to try. They dash of they didn't know what else to try. We had to wash, brush teeth using the bathroom. The TV didnt work. Service said some remotes were missing, that they had been having trouble for the past few weeks since a new provider had become involved. They had no solutions and weeks since a new provider had become involved. They had no solutions and couldn't make any suggestions. Said they were sorry.
We noticed immediately that windows and carpets were very dirty. The light fixtures and sills were covered with dead bugs. We had planned to stay 2 nights, but left after one. There were only 7 rooms that had a working TV, and ours was not one of them.
On a positive note, the front desk staff were very personable and we were refunded for the night we didn't stay.
I do have photos, but was unable to upload them. With a little elbow grease, this could be a nice motel.
