They kept most of our $100 deposit because of a small stain on the sheet which was previously there.
I didn't like the fact they kept 66 Dollars of our Deposit. They claimed it was for a new set of bed sheets that we supposedly ruined. Yes we did accidentally break open a tide pod on the sheets. They did say that they took pictures of the sheets and we're going to send me the pictures but never did and they still have not released the $44 remaining from our deposit my wife and I completely feel like it was lies in some way to pocket the money or something I don't know.
Could not get refund after booking error. 100$ deposit but allows afterpay in 4 payments. The reason for afterpay payment is that I don't have enough to book full price. This is very inconvenient and a policy change should be made.
The room wasn't ready when we checked in at 3, had to wait for 30 minutes to get room done. When we got in the room it smelled so badly with bleach. We had to keep the door and windows open. The curtains and bed skirt were dirty. We turned on the TV and there was no signal, so front desk came and fixed TV for about an hour. When we finally went to sleep there were cockroaches climbing on the TV. We couldn't leave to different room; the place was sold out and they wouldn't give our money back. I will never go to this Motel again.
NO elevator,ice machine in another building behind locked door labeled "laundry", traffic noise, air conditioner so loud no sleep is possible. After the next room started yelling at 3:00AM we decided to leave after that one night. When I checked out I was refunded only one night instead of the two nights of the three I paid for because I did not give them 48 hours notice! Really?
My wife and I just needed a one night stay and City Inn was perfect. Very affordable, quite clean, comfortable queen bed, and had refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, good internet, and TV. Staff was cordial and helpful.
Sketchy location and paper thin walls - it also smelled like cigarette smoke in our room and someone left the window cracked before we got there to air it out.
Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. Tried to charge me a $25 early check in fee (on a $57 room) because I arrived at 1:45, then when I came back at 3 they couldn't take my credit card information and made me wait in the parking lot for 30 minutes to see if they could get their machines working. They could not. Had to give my information to the owner over the phone. Room was clean, but- never again.
