The front desk guy was doing his best. I donât blame him for our experience. Iâm traveling with 2 one year olds and upon arriving I was greeted by a homeless man in the lobby. Fair enough, not a great area. Checked into our room where we found a messy floor and downright lethal negligence. Youâd almost expect some marijuana crumbs on the floor and ash on the windowsill, we got that. Cleaned it up. It was when we found a counterfeit opioid likely containing fentanyl, according to Google Lens, that we knew we had a real problem. Luckily, we stopped our 1 year old babies from eating marijuana, opioids and broken glass. After asking the front desk for a cleaning or a new room, they offered me a broom and a dust pan to sweep up the carpet myself? I denied, asking for a new room. I checked the new room which was littered with debris on the floor and said we will clean the current one ourselves. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a vacuum AT ALL. We couldnât get a vacuum to clean our own room. No housekeeping here. Nothing but the guy at the front desk. So we searched the floor on our hands and knees to ensure our children wouldnât die from a stay at this hotel. Needless to say Iâll be filing a dispute and staying away from this hotel for the rest of time.
