I would NOT recommend this VRBO. I chose it as a landing and gathering place for family from across the state and out of state. We looked forward to a comfortable place to cook, visit and hang out. We chose it for the yard, outdoor space and treehouse for children to play on and a secure yard for the dog. Unfortunately, the yard was littered with trash and cigarette butts, the fence was broken and the deck and treehouse were made of exposed wood that was not safe for children to play. The house sits on the edge of I-25 which roars day and night, making it impossible to enjoy sitting and conversing outside. The barbecue was equipped with charcoal and lighter fluid, but the âgrateâ was a vinyl coated baking cooling rack that was completely unsuitable for grilling. Inside, the home was dirty-the stove and oven had not been touched by cleaners. Cabinets and walls were marred by spills and splatters. The baseboards were dirty as were the corners throughout the house, especially the bathrooms, contained caked dirt. While the showers were good, the overall dirtiness of the bathrooms was very unpleasant. The hair dryer didnât work, light fixtures and curtain rods were broken. It goes on. This home needs to come off the site and be cleaned and repaired top to bottom. Very disappointing.
