Property had been was double booked

i booked in August for a stay in January. when we arrived there was someone else staying at the property as the property had been double booked.The owners had a family issue and were not availablewe were very lucky another prooerty manager came to our rescue. somehow they managed to find us alternate acxommodation which was excellent and they arranged a full refund.

Great location at Derby

It is as a comfortable house with great bathroom and lounge / kitchen area . Slightly disappointed with the warmth of the beds .

Fabulous townhouse in Derby

We had a great stay at the Shed in Derby. Lovely modern accommodation right in the centre of town with the bike tracks on our doorstep. The shed had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible including a lock up shed for bikes if needed. Right across the road from bike hire and shuttle places and a selection of good restaurants very near by. We will definitely be back 😊

Tas Gravity Enduro weekend

Great location good outlook quiet close to river and trails and township. Awesome having the weber bbq and outside deck garden and picnic table on the lawn and outdoor furniture. Could have a coffee machine otherwise everything was really lovely

Perfect Mtb accommodation

A lovely space, perfectly positioned. I really enjoyed rolling down the trail along the river a couple of 100 Meyers to the shuttles in the morning and then popping out of 'Return to Sender's across the road from home in the afternoon.

Amazing property

Superb property in an amazing location on the river. We had a very enjoyable stay. Welcoming and friendly hosts who gave us very helpful information about the property, town of derby and local restaurants ahead of our stay. We would definitely stay at this property again

Mountain bikers nirvana

…..actually not just mountain bikers nirvana. This is a gorgeous place, kitted out with all that you need to enjoy the food, shops and the chilled out atmosphere of Derby. Great location over looking the river and hills. We booked this stay 3 years ago due to Covid restrictions and grateful that Grant held our booking open. Well worth the wait. Thanks for helping make our Derby so memorable.

Lovely quiet place to stay

We stayed for a week in the shed and found it a lovely space to work and wind down in. The birds visited us daily and it was very quiet and peaceful. We did have a lot of rain but found it was equipped well enough to dry all our stuff. The large windows do look over the public path and because of the striking design, everyone looks in so be prepared for that. The blinds are also transparent at night so it’s not as private as it feels.

Great spot and cabin.

The 2nd time I have stayed here and 2 years on it's still as good as last time. Lovely clean, warm and modern cabin with a view over the river and at the gateway to the Mt bike trails. The owner Grant is fantastic as well, always accomodating and doing what he can to make your stay as good as possible. I will look forward to staying here next time I'm down there as well.

Upper end Derby

Great 2 bedroom modern place on the banks of the river, next door to bike washing stand and center of town. Place to lock up bikes, air pumps provided. Clean and tidy with well appointed furniture. Only thing missing was fresh ground coffee! (loaf of fresh bread and bottle of wine provided). highly recommended

The best accommodation in Derby

The Shed is easily the best accommodation in Derby. Positioned in the heart of town overlooking the river, designed to take in the beautiful environment and built to facilitate privacy and warmth when required. Everything has been thought of, from great communication to ease of gaining access, not to mention the lovely (and very comfortable) furniture and appliances.

Great little shack!

This is a very nice place to stay in Derby, the living area is fabulous, being all open with a great outlook over the river. Also great are the kitchen area, modern bathroom/ laundry and comfortable bedrooms. Grant is really awesome to deal with and super communicative and helpful on all matters of the stay. So many positives about this place, from the location, bike shed, front deck, thoughtful amenities, parking and overall comfort, only negative is if you’re unlucky to be there when it’s raining, as there are no undercover areas to clean yourself up after a wet and muddy ride. But that’s it! I’d certainly recommend staying here and would stay again in a heart beat.

Great spot in the middle of Derby

What a lovely home away from home. A beautiful brand new apartment, very clean and nicely laid out. Even on a cold winter’s day, the big north facing windows warmed the whole house up. It was the perfect size for a couple and 2 kids, and we were able to walk or ride everywhere. The kitchen was adequately equipped, although a toastie maker would be a nice addition to make it even better! Heaps of books, magazines and games- great for a rainy day. We enjoyed watching the world go by. On the deck. We’d stay there again next time we’re in Derby for sure. Graeme was a super communicator- thanks for your hospitality.
