Location is situated on the north side of Coachella valley, with easy access to Joshua Tree NP 45 min to the north, and canyon hikes, PS museums and restaurants to the south. Grocery store within 5 minutes and well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook, toast, blend, microwave, etc with ease. Unit was quiet and clean. We felt secure.
The only Mountain views were from outsider in the back. Its a condo not a house. There were four picnic tables there inside the six foot wall to the three condos and one the out the sliding door and all four were warped and sun damaged. The dining table in the living room had child size chairs. The inside except for the furniture could use some TLC. The TP was like you would find in a gas station.
Whoever got the CONDO ready for our stay must have been in a hurry because when we got ready to go to bed the top shear was damp and cold.
I would think with a five star rating it would be better. I would never want to sell a property that could be made more valuable with some TLC.
I came to Palm Springs to compete in the National Croquet Tournament at Mission Hills Rancho Mirage and this home was a fabulous place to stay for our tournament. The home was clean and roomy and conveniently located to the country club. It would have been nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit rather than a pay unit in a room off the courtyard but this was very minor issue for us. I'd certainly stay here again next time I'm competing in Palm Springs or out for a vacation.
We had a wonderful time. The property was large and extremely clean. The manager was very helpful and communication was great. I would highly recommend. Only one thing, the description shows there is a hot tub, which there wasn't. That was fine with us though. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving with our Marine.
This was a simple and straightforward rental. It was easy to find and access. We had no contact with the owner, which was fine as there were no issues. The property met our basic needs, but we were challenged by the lack of kitchen necessities. The kitchen lacked basic cooking equipment, like measuring cups, a spatula, and even a baking sheet. Flipping a fried egg with a butter knife challenged our culinary skills!
Although the unit was clean and well stocked,There were various deficiencies in the unit. Carpet pulled away from the tack strip exposing spikes, burned out lightbulbs, dishwasher issues,Door lock issues.
Cute little condo, comfy beds, lots of towels, quiet, manager very responsive. Desert Hot Springs is a little run down but this was far better value than anything we could have chosen in Palm Springs.
