The overall VRBO listing was very vague, but we booked anyway! Bad move on our part. When we reached out to the host for some clarity, it took several days for a reply. The host finally responded as we were already getting on the road so we did not have the opportunity to adjust our plan. Upon arrival, we still had not heard from the host about arrival instructions. We reached out and had to wait several hours for a response. We received a message saying. "I forgot to get your instructions...". After getting settled, we realized the listed amenities were very misleading. One...No view of the Gulf! Second, it listed kitchen and bathroom paper products as provided, but they were not. So we had to go back to the store. It also listed beach chairs as available to use. There were beach chairs available but they were extremely old and rusted and our clothes ended up with rust stains. The condo also came with a parking spot in the garage, but upon entering the garage a couple times throughout the week, another vehicle was in that reserved spot. The vehicle had a tag that was exactly the same as the one provided to us for our car (same spot number). So we had to find a spot in the general lot a couple times. I also had to fix the shower curtain rod in one of the bathrooms. No biggie but just another inconvenience. We had members of our family rent another condo on site and they received an ocean view and had beach service every day. They paid way less than we did.
