Do not use this hotel

The elevator was not working, the nonsmoking rooms smelled of tobacco, the other customers were blasting music and fighting with curse words through the walls all night slamming doors, the hotel was not clean, the bathroom was clogged and when you call the desk no one picks up. This was shocking because comfort inn is usually my first choice for family friendly, clean hotels.

Everyone was super nice. Rooms were quiet and clean. Transportation to and from the concert was included. The breakfast was nice and many options. I would definitely use again.

The staff was very friendly and very accommodating .The room was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Location was convenient. There was an AC/DC concert in town and the hotel brought us to Ford Field and back for free. I would definitely stay here again.

First and last stay

Check in was at 2:00. We arrived at 5:00. Room wasn’t ready. Sent us to our room 15 minutes later. Still wasn’t ready. Waited in the hall while it was being cleaned. When we finally got our room, the bathtub hadn’t been clean. Still had previous occupants used soap bar in it. The room smelled of cigarette smoke so badly we couldn’t sleep. Walls are thin. Curtains don’t block street lights. On a positive note, they offered free shuttle to and from the concert.

The walls were paper thin, you could hear everything and every room just about. There was a fight next to our room beginning at 2:00 a.m. and lasted until almost 4:30 a.m. . I had to call the front desk. The staff was very efficient and nice.The curtains and blinds need to be updated.

Disappointed

The staff was friendly and most were helpful. The TV and phone didn't work. The toilet barely worked. We couldn't get an extra blanket. We were told we'd be moved to another room but that never happened. The facility is very dated but clean. We won't be back.
